Hver gang jeg får mails i min indbakke så kræves det at jeg sletter dem ikke bare en gang, men to gange, før de væk fra indbakken. Tidligere har jeg kunnet slette en mail en enkelt gang - som i alle andre mailprogrammer - men nu skal jeg som sagt dobbelt - slette dem. Hvad kan jeg gøre for at annullere indstillinger om dobbelt - sletning. Kh Flemming

after yahoo messed up their email beyond usability I am looking for an email client.

I like Thunderbird with it's neat and clean user interface. But even with 0 subject lines ans compact settings I only see 8 emails per screen on my 10" tablet.

Is there another setting that I have missed which would give me at least 20 emails per screen?

Also search is incredibly slow (one result every 1-3 seconds). Is that only because I just recently installed it?

Since the last update (I am running K-9 Mail v17.0 on a Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 with Android 14 Build Number U1TGNS34.42-86-4-5-4-8), I am often getting a separate notification for every new email in my In Box (POP3) instead of one notification to say that I have a bunch of new messages, and the notification(s) is(are) not going away after I look at my message(s) and delete the email(s).

Any idea if this is a bug or a feature? It is annoying to delete 10 emails and then have to delete 10 notifications about the same 10 emails.

For some reason on the app it switches between two layouts for my gmail account. From the photos I attached a drop down menu that says gmail is present in one of them but sometimes when I go to open the app sometimes it will just show it fully with out the gmail part.

If its possible I would like it to now show the gmail drop down menu.

I'm using the Android version and I'm wondering why my folders are inside the Gmail folder.

This means that every time I navigate between folders, I unnecessarily tap on the Gmail folder.

Can you please help me and advice how Can I put my sign I'm answer above mail which I am answering to? Now when I am answering, my sign is always atthe bottom of page. First is my answer, then message from sender and then my sign (nobody will see it when there will be lot of mails). Thunderbird for PC is doing it as I want it, but I am not able to set it in android version.

The "Threaded view" option doesn't work, or at least not in the way I expect it to.

I've attached two screenshots of the same conversation, once of thunderbird and once of proton mail. Proton does chain the email thread properly, but in thunderbird it's completely detached.

Email conversations get really painful without proper email chaning/threading, especially if a replyee's client doesn't attach a quote ("> ...") at the end.

Hi, I just started using Thunderbird for Android and - so far - I am loving it. One thing I cannot seem to figure out is how to change the color scheme of the widget. Is it even possible to change it? I would like to set it to use the same dark theme I have for other widgets, but the Thunderbird widget stubbornly keeps its white background.

I have a custom image for my business email signature on Thunderbird desktop.

Im trying to get Thunderbird mobile to use the same image, or HTML signature when sending business emails from mobile. All i can find is a simple text input box for mobile signature. It doesn't accept html or images.

I have been using TB Android for some time now. I saw the update to 11.1 from my current 10.1 this morning. So I jumped on it with excitement! Suffice it to say that, thanks to my rooted phone and Neo Backup, I have returned to 10.1...

My main problems are with the "hierarchical folders" - especially in gmail, which is the only place I see these bad changes (I have outlook and yahoo accounts as well):

1. There should be an option to turn use of "hierarchical folders" OFF in an account. I sure don't see that. 2. If "hierarchical folders" are to be insisted-upon, the state of opened folders in the hierarchy should be persisted - at the very least within a given TB session - but it would be more ideal across TB sessions. 3. If you tap on the un-opened "hierarchy" folder, you get a completely worthless page (see attached). WTH? 4. There should be a way to indicate that a given "hierarchy" folder should NOT be hidden in the drop-down but should be placed at the top, outside the hierarchy. Would would have hoped that the "Show At Top" setting in the Manage Folders would do this, but it does NOT.

I didn't go much beyond this. I realized right then that this was not the update for me. So I tried to use the back button to return from TB to the launcher's home page (so I could go to Neo Backup and recover). Guess what? The back button no longer exits from TB to the launcher in 11.1 as it did in 10.1. I sure did not see this in the release notes.

This is a shame really.

I am in my inbox. At the bottom of the screen is "load up to x more".

Okay that's nice but now I regret having done that. How can I simply get back to the previous state of not having that many messages in the list?

No I don't want to actually delete any messages on the IMAP server.

Attempting to acclimate to TB Android after long awaited anticipation!

Where are settings for choosing what folders are included in the Unified inbox?

Currently, it is overwhelming having ALL drafts, sent, received, forwarded et al appearing.

Also, seems I can't really delete a simple email. I delete then it pops back up in Unified box. Apparently, even my trash is included. 🤷

I have yet to find "common" email settings to select and organize folders.

I have set all Notifications on (there seems to be a dozen on/off switches) but new emails do not trigger a marker on the Thunderbird logo or any other form of notification I have to open Thunderbird just to get new messages to download Is there a setting I need to change?

1) There is a layout problem in the accounts display on the left hand side, where the email addresses are sometimes obscured by the titles of the pages (see screenshot). 2) Also, is it possible to adjust the labels of so that they reflect the initials of two-word titles? So Websites Wanted would be WW, not WE, and Prague Story PS, not PR? Or even upload avatars instead of lettered labels? Thanks!
