Firefox Syncing freezing on new Android phone connected to Sync on PC which works fine

Good evening. I am currently running FF 73.0 64 bit on my PC. When I hit sync it rotates for about 3 seconds and then seems to complete. I just purchased a new Android Phone Samsuns a10e using Android 9. I have Firefox's current version on my phone. When I log into the phone it constantly says I am logged in but when I go to Sync it seems to be frozen at 'Syncing...' and says last sync 'never.' A little while ago I uninstalled and reinstalled FF on Android and before I did that it still said Syncing but instead of never it showed 'last synced:1 minute ago, then 2, then 3 all the while still saying 'Syncing.' If I disconnect and sign back into the Android version it says this Firefox is connected and a pop on my PC says it is connected to the phone's Firefox. However if I open settings again and click on my account on the phone it automatically starts syncing and says never like it never had before. I do not have it set to 'Sync only over wifi' so I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated

I have been using sync tab from android to PC for a while now. I can't do that in the new update, the sync tab option (The option where you can find your sync tabs from other devices) disappeared. I can't find it anywhere, the help said its under my sync account or specifically, right under sign out button. But it's not there for me.

And yes it is still sync. My phone still show history from my other devices.

Android Note 8

Until about a week ago sync worked fine to my knowledge and I could look at saved logins on my Note 8 which were sync'd with my W10 desktop. Now FF sync on Note 8 will NO… (pročitajte više)

Until about a week ago sync worked fine to my knowledge and I could look at saved logins on my Note 8 which were sync'd with my W10 desktop. Now FF sync on Note 8 will NOT update and show me saved logins and passwords, pressing the button does NOTHING. It doesn't even open a new page, absolutely nothing. My bookmarks will sync with desktop but NOT passwords/logins.

It is weird because when I go to a website and login, my Note8 does show suggested logins like it always has but in FF you cannot look at saved logins any longer?

Also noticed that under Note 8 accounts and backup, FF is NOT even listed as an account and I thought it used to be listed there.

I know that when I changed FF pw on my Note 8 it deleted the password/logins. But seeing as how they are still showing up on my desktop, obviously they are still saved in FF

I have latest for today Firefox v.89 on my laptop and Firefox v.88 installed on my Android phone. I've logged in into FF account on both devices.

Now I try to sync my devices (i set to sync all data types) and android cannot get any. Neither login nor bookmarks. Also I didnt set a Master Password for logins.

By the way, i can send a tab from laptop to phone, so they are connected.

I've checked Firefox Sync troubleshooting and tips but none helped.

What shell I do?

What you describe is "Open menue on your smartphone - then settings - then activate sync - then scanning the code. But - WHERE can I find this "activate sync"? Are the passwords still saved locally on my other devices? I am not home right now and can't check. If so and all i have to do is sync from them then all is well.

Why can't I find a support mail address anywhere?

at first I want to thank you to help me and excuse my English because I am not a native.

My problem is that I can press the "sync now" button in Firefox but nothing happens and it should do the sync automatically. Should. Before I started todays sync the last was on the 17th of December. And to start the sync I have to manually close the Firefox via the Android-App-Info, disable my VPN (Blokada) and then maybe it works. But just the first time I use it. Later on, even with no Blokada (disabled), I would have to close FF again to make the sync work.

My Phone is a Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G and I am located in Germany. It is up to date and runs Android 10.

Firefox is the latest out of the Play Store.

Beforehand I used a galaxy S5, and had no such problems, I also had the Account in the settings of the phone. The Xiaomi does not let me add a explicit Firefox-Account, which also could be a problem, but I didn't find a solution yet (google, reddit and so on, this is why I am asking here).

I cannot find this path, all I can find is Settings>User&Accounts>Firefox. From there, "Configure Sync" only brings me to the screenshot again with the same error message. All I can do here is manually Sync using the "Sync All" button.

Added firefox in the authenticator using my backup codes I've without any problem but the firefox sync refuce all attempts to login using the two step code that google authenticator gives me. Have done three attempts now and every time I get rejected

as the title already describes, I currently can't get Firefox Sync back running (Android 11). I eventually disconnected the device from the account and tried to reconnect it, which doesn't work at all. It just freezes after entering my password or after confirming that I would like to pair it via firefox.com/pair.

Any idea what might be wrong?

On Firefox for Android, I see a "phantom" device that I no longer have access to.

This device has already been removed in my "Devices & apps" setting within my firefox account but I can't find a way to make it disappear from the "Send tab to other device" list in Firefox for Android, and have no idea why it continues to show up.

I've cleared the data on Android, logged out and logged back in, synced manually, and nothing I've tried seems to help.
