I have a laptop ( screen 1) connected to an external monitor screen 2) and extending the desktop. Firefox is running on the external monitor and a site I use has frequent pop up windows with tick boxes to select. With Chrome & Edge I can get the Popup window to open on the external monitor where the browser is running, but with Firefox the pop up window always opens on the Laptop screen. Is there a setting to get the pop up window to open on the same screen that Firefox is open on?

I cannot get supporrt.mozilla.org pages into dark mode. My eyes are not good and I can barely read these pages. I have Dark Reader enabled, but I cannot find any way to enforce dark mode. Is it possiblle and, if so, how do I do it, please?

I have vertical tabs enabled in Firefox. What's the way to eliminate this blank toolbar space (see image) Dragging it in the customization settings doesn't work, as it keeps coming back. It's not Flexible Space.

After today's 2025-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5055523) update, Firefox does not allow me to log into my Dominion Energy Credit Union account (see attached login error screen). Using Firefox Private Browsing, however, DOES allow logging in. I have cleared the cache, restarted the browser, and restarted the computer several times. Please advise.

I have an "Ad Blocker" problem for years. I read the instructions "Adblck Plus Instructions" I cannot find "Beneath “Block ads on”, click the large blue toggle next to “This website”, no matter what I do. What am I doing wrong?

in the last couple weeks, every time I go into Firefox my bookmarks and bookmark toolbar are scrambled. (all messed up and out of order). I have to keep restoring from a good save file. How do I stop this from happening? I have even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but that hasn't helped. I have imported the good bookmark file that I saved.

So when i first updated to 137.0 tab groups were working fine, then one day i couldn't create any more. I had a previous tab group, but when i deleted it, there was no way to make another. I tried dragging tabs on top of each other, tried right clicking a tab to "Add Tab to New Group" but there wasn't an option. I updated to 137.0.1 to see if that would fix it, and it didn't. I then tried to uninstall and reinstall still no. I turned my computer off and then on again and also no.

I'd really appreciate any help with this because i'm kinda tearing my hair out trying to find out what changed.

When I put my laptop to sleep, websites I am logged into are often logged out when I return. Note that I don't close Firefox. The tabs generally reopen but require login again. Windows 11, Firefox 137.0.1

For example, I put my laptop to sleep for lunch. When I returned, tabs were there, but I was logged out of gmail, Discord, and a website I was logged into.

This seems to happen more frequently recently, but not every time, as far as I know. But this is a relatively new problem, possibly related to a new laptop. Occasionally I get a message that there is trouble restoring my session.

i share my computer and when someone else uses the browser they see the last page I used. Emails open and they can see my private emails. how do I stop this without erasing history everytime I use it

When I first open Firefox from the icon in my taskbar the opening window says the following:

'Unable to connect Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 0.0.0.4. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web.'

However this is only the first window, after that I can open a new tab in the same window without any problems.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox without avail. Can anyone help please?

For about a week now, I have been unable to read any pdf document I download. The body of the document is completely black (that is black, not blank). When I go to save the document, it is saved as a black (unreadable) document. I have had to switch to using another browser in order to be able to download/save a readable pdf document. How can I fix this issue?

Добрый день! Несколько дней назад на всех ПК в школе обнаружилась проблема: при загрузке файлов ярлык папки windows перестал работать как ярлык и стал восприниматься как файл формата .lnk . Теперь чтобы зайти в ярлык нужно использовать контекстное меню. Кажется, это произошло после последнего обновления. Заметил, когда прикреплял вложение в почте. Проблема сохраняется в разных почтах - mail.ru, yandex.ru, gmail.com. Скрины во вложении Спасибо!

I use the URL BVN.NL to display videos, however it comes up with a message; "General Source Error" or "Video decoder or demuxer had an error with content" But if I use the Chrome browser, there are no problems.

When I click on any of my Instagram photo posts, I only get the background transparent gray screen but no post photo enlargement with comment and 'insights" link section. It does work correctly on other users' accounts. So am I asking the right entity here or is it a Microsoft problem? Thank you.

Why does Mozilla say insane things like put your passwords in a safe place? Mozilla just today made mine disappear. Can the morons at Mozilla understand the problems this has caused? I may have inadvertantly blocked Firefox from executing. I run Windows 11 on my desktop, and use SpyBot as my virus defender. Last night SpyBot may have run and prevented Firefox from running. This morning it would not open at all, no matter using a shortcut button or activating the program directly from Menu. I tried re-installing, but a window opens saying, "Hmm. For some reason we could not install Firefox." I tried uninstalling Mozilla but the window opens to initiate the process but in 20 minutes less than 1% of the procedure bar is lit and blinking. Do you have any suggestions?
