Firefox no longer works with my Century Link webmail account. I can get to webmail using other browsers, but I prefer to stay with Firefox. I just checked my Firefox updates and I am up to date. Any ideas? Bob

Somehow the file ended up on my desktop. I think I saw it in a wierd place so I moved it out hoping it would go where it was supposed to go but it ended up on my desktop and now Firefox won't open correctly. Help?

I like using Fire Fox (FF), but I am constantly met with resistance from different organizations which try to tell me to use MS Edge, or Google Chrome. It seems like FF is a problem for them. Now, after successfully using Fire Fox for decades, I can no longer log in to my bank account when using FF. I can use any other browser, but not Fire Fox. I've spoken to the bank, and they point the finger at FF (of course), but this time (unfortunately) I have to agree with the bank. What did FF do that now makes it impossible for me to access certain web pages, or certain features, like "logging in" to accounts?

Can you please un-F whatever you F'd up? Or, please explain to me why I can do everything the exact same way I've always done things when like using Brave, Chrome, Edge, Chrome Cast, and TOR, but can no longer do them when using FF

After letting Firefox idle for a bit (like 5 seconds) and nothing playing on the screen, when I come back, it causes screen stuttering for my whole desktop. Disabling hardware hardware acceleration doesn't help much.

When I log into my Outlook Web account, after putting in username and password, it sends me a verification number to my phone. When I put that number it the screen says "Logging out of Microsoft Outlook" and then takes me to the logged out screen. This was working fine until the last update of Firefox, and it works fine in the Duck Duck Go browser. It also works on my Android Cell phone.

According to the most recent update page, this function should be working for all users by now. (see attached screenshot).

It is still not working for me. Has the timeline been postponed? Is anyone else still unable to use this function?

For tab settings I have checked these: Open links in tabs instead of new windows When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately

In the past links opened in new tab immediately. But now some links open in SAME tab immediately. For example: I open https://www.pbs.org/livestream/ and start watching the livestream. When I click the link On Air Schedule It opens immediately in the same tab, which ends my livestream

Hi, I've been involved in IT for many years but have stuck an issue I'm unable to resolve. As a search engine I like to use www.google.com.au which works fine until I log into my Google account. Once I'm logged in to my account the home page reverts to www.google.com and I'm unable to add the .au. I've confirmed it happening on three different machines over the past couple of days. If I use Edge, Chrome or Brave, the problem does not arise, so I must conclude there is an issue somewhere within Firefox. Any help would be greatly appreciated Many Thanks Phil

there are massive performance issues while playing videos on Youtube while using Firefox. This does not happen with the same video while using edge. The attached video shows the used memory and CPU of the youtube tab from the firefox process manager. This was taken after playing the video for 30s. Letting it run longer resulted in firefox taking up 20GB of RAM.

I think this happens since I installed 138.0 of firefox.

Could you please take a look.

Firefox is not loading on my desktop full sceen. I can see a small page minimalized when I put my curser on the Firefox icon. This has happened once before and I had to uninstall and install and I lost a lot of settings doing that. Please advise. Picture on the left is what I see, not the other. Yesterday I have updated tp macOS 15. Sine then I have trupuble displaying any webpages in Firefox 130. Th econnection just times out. Any other browser such as Brave, Safari, Home, Edge are still working as before teh update. How to fix this please?

I run a Synology DSM server on my local network. The website page to load locally inside my LAN is along the lines of 127.0.0.1:1001.

MacOSX 15.0.1 FireFox(FF) 132.0 (aarch64)

Previously accessing the DSM via the local IP address worked fine with no problems. Now, following one of the last couple of FF updates, I get an "unable to connect" message.

I also have a domain that routes to my local server and I can still access the DSM via the internet http address through FF. So I know that DSM is running fine and I have verified the settings within DSM.

I can load the DSM via the local IP in both Safari and Chrome. Only FF says it's unable to connect. So that shows that my DSM settings are fine and the page is available and loads in Safari and Chrome via the local IP.

I searched the forum and found similar postings, but not quite the same issue as mine. I deleted the cache & cookies/site data. I ensured the Proxy mode in FF is set to "No Proxy". I do not have any extensions running or themes.

I am at a complete loss at what setting in FF I need to change to restore this functionality.
