Hello,

How do I disable or remove these autofill searches that I do not use that appear at the very top. They keep appearing such as searching up gamestop it goes to gamefaq first or searching maps to get google maps, it gives my local city website map instead.

These have become a nuisance as I never visit these sites.

My old Linux computer died and I have removed the still good SSD from it. I have installed the latest Firefox on my new computer and would like to restore the bookmarks and other saved data to the new computer.

I am running Ubuntu 20.04, the old computer was on Ubuntu 18.04.

Can these things be restored, and if so what do I need to do?

My main screen and drop-down are stuck in a black background. I have changed the setting but they only work once I leave the home screen that shows in a new tab. How do I get it back to a white background?

I use to be able to change firefox icons by adding these files in Firefox under the browser directory

It worked in version 56 but now in version 97 and this no longer works?

Hi, Trying to move profiles to new computer.

Can only B/U some parts to usb stick, then get error message that filename paths are too long, not supported in system (win 7).

Tried creating folder in stick w/ profile name & then copy contents of appdata folder to that. Same problem.

Also tried copying main folder to root of C/ drive...same issue.

Rebooted & retried, same.

Every time that i install a image from the internet, when i click to open it, it opens with the wrong application, when i manually set to open it with gwenview in files and applications on the settings menu, it still using gimp as default

1. Firefox for MacOS prompted me to "REFRESH" 2. After "REFRESH" Firefox is missing all my previous data (bookmarks, history, passwords etc). 3. "Old Firefox Data" folder is on the desktop 4. I have followed archived support help steps for this issue but did not restore previous Firefox profile. 5. Archived help solution says to ask the question again.

when i ask costcotravel.com to give a price, the site just spins and never gives the info.

works fine on chrome. this is new and never happened before the last few weeks. I did clear the history but still wont answer.

Bookmarks are saving but never show up in my bookmarks bar folders?

• I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but still same problem. And yes I did a hard delete of all installation files in users - app data..
• I have checked the read only is not selected in the "places.sqlite", and even deleted it to force a new one, still didn't help.
• I have also deleted the "xulstore.json" file and that also did not help.
• I have reset in safe mode to default setting but that also didn't help.

Does anyone please know how to fix this very annoying problem?

Please I really don't want to go back to Chrome but if that's the only reliable browser without so many downsides (apart from privacy) then I don't see any other option if I can't fix this asap.

I was in my bookmarks in a folder named "Bonus" about to select a website and the folder just disappeared, while I was in it. I went to a synced browser on a different computer to recover the folder. It was there and I was about to copy it when IT disappeared. That folder has all of my working tools in it. How can I recover a folder not stored on my harddrive but was stored in my browser?

Hi everyone, I have created an extension that can be used from the usual position at the top right through which you can do some things, including open a website locally. To be clearer ...

Extension Folder: - extension.js - manifest.json - LocalWebSite (folder)

Inside the LocalWebSite folder: - index.html

Then clicking the button via the extension will load the local website. At this point, when the local website is opened it becomes impossible to trigger any button, modal, or whatever, it's a totally static page.

One important thing is that I don't want to replace the popup with the static page, I wish I could have both.

I just installed Firefox version 97.0. After the install, my print preview disappeared! Solutions I found on your web site DO NOT fix the problem. I change the configuration entry print.tab_modal.enabled from TRUE to FALSE as recommended.

Also, there is no entry app.normandy.startupRolloutPrefs.print.tab_modal.enabled in my config.

Please help!
