All of my saved websites were deleted in a CCleaner action!

Can Firefox do anything to recover all of the downloads I'd saved until I accidentally had CCleaner erase everything? I don't know what else was deleted, but getting them… (pročitajte više)

Site still appearing in auto-complete despite clearing history

I found 'chromeasia.com' autocompleting in the Firefox address bar upon typing 'ch'. I searched History for this and there was no sign of it. I cleared all history data, … (pročitajte više)

I found 'chromeasia.com' autocompleting in the Firefox address bar upon typing 'ch'. I searched History for this and there was no sign of it. I cleared all history data, rebooted, ran a disk cleanup and find that 'chromeasia.com' stil autocompletes upon typing 'ch' in the address bar.

Any suggestions or advice on how to clear this would be warmly appreciated. Thanks. Stephen

My account has my primary email and it used to have my secondary email connected as well. I now want to create a new account with the secondary email so I can have another profile, so I deleted my secondary email from the manage accounts on my primary email. I ensured that this says it is removed on all devices and it is. But when I try to create a new account with that secondary email, I keep getting the error that I need to sign in my primary email and I am taken back to my profile with my primary email.

How can I fully detach my secondary email so that I can make a new account with it?

What goes wrong with a simple tracking request on the UPS website? Try my actual case with the following link: https://www.ups.com/track?tracknum=1ZA06B736800244687&loc=fi_FI&requester=QUIC%2F/ The response in Finnish is always: "Emme voi suorittaa seurantapyyntöäsi tällä hetkellä. Yritä myöhemmin uudelleen." A quick and dirty translation is: "We cannot execute your request right now. Try again later".

This is an everlasting problem. But try the exactly same link on Chrome or Edge, and it works fine.

Problem: Cannot clear history from Firefix Started with Menu and clear recent history. Looked everyplace there was information about history. Tried removing individual entries. Ran Malwarebytes. Dell XPS 8960 with Windows 11 less than one year old. No response with any steps I take. Also, there are no error messages. I am unable to clear history no matter which tools I use. No error messages. All the suggestions I tried had no effect. Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox.

Oddly, I tried my older Dell Inspiron 3650, with Windows 10, and clear history works like it should. 

Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox. So far, all the advice goes down the same path; history, clean recent history, manage history, etc.. Tried refreshing and today I deleted Firefox app and reloaded. No improvement. Results same with Verify Integrity > Task: checkIntegrity - Unable to fix corruption, places.sqlite will be replaced on next startup > Task: checkCoherence - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: expire - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: vacuum - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: stats - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: _refreshUI - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. I am running Firefox 144.0 on kubuntu 24.04.3 LTS I have lost sound on Firefox. I have opened the same sites in Chrome and the sound is working fine. It's only in Firefox. I have tried several sites including Udemy, YouTube, and radio programs, no sound from Firefox. The problem started in the middle of a Jit.Si session. All of a sudden the sound disappeared. I thought that restart Firefox would help, then restart the computer would help. But the problem has continued. The speakers is turned on the volume is up, just not a sound from Firefox. What to do?

since the uptate to version 144.0.2 I have two problems. the first one is async streaming on platforms eg. youtube or netflix. The videos take a very long time to load. Even if a video has already preloaded and I skip to that area, the video takes an extremely long time to load again. The 2nd problem i have in livestreams eg. live-TV or twitch. The loading time is very long. It is so long that many livestreams are doesn't even able to start. So, it is no longer possible for me to watch livestreams on Firefox. what i've done to fix it: - I deactivated all Add-on's and deleted all browser Data - I made a new profile and deleted the old ones - I reinstalled Firefox

Nothing worked. so pls can you help me that I can use Firefox normally as usual? (sorry for my bad english, I'm from Germany)

When I am asked for a new password, it seems Firefox pops up with a suggestion. I have "Ask to save passwords" turned off. I want 1Password to generate my passwords and the pop-ups do not follow my 1Password specs. Therefore, I think Firefox is displaying the pop-ups. Is this a known bug?

Firefox updated to the latest version and it lost everything. All my saved passwords are gone, all my bookmarks, data, etc. It said I could sign in with my account and it would sync them and bring them all over, it didn't. I can't use the original profile because it says it's outdated, I don't even know if it's the correct profile anyway. What am I supposed to do?
