While watching a video in full screen mode, the screen periodically darkens for 2-3 seconds, after which the video continues, during the darkening the video stops and there is no sound

Hi, I am using Firefox browser on Windows 11, Dell machine with Cirruslogic sound driver There is sound intrruptions when a new music source has started while a music already playing on another tab. While a radio or youtube music stream playing on a tab (in background) and if other tab starts a new sound like youtube or video an any page when started the music background got interrupted (like a small pause operation). If I do the same with chrome or opera, the music goes on without promblem seamlesly. Also if a music stream continues, opening a new music stream on chrome do es not effects. So, the only proble ise with opening sound from different tabs interrups each other on only Firefox browser PS:I am using the Treestyle tab extension. Unable to watch on YT ESL spirit v EF CS2 as memory usage constantly going up until pc almost locks up. Had this issue a few weeks back and it was the chat however now disabling chat makes no difference.

Nm tried disabling Ublock origin and it's fixed, left this there as it might be useful to you guys

I have tried several times to adjust settings to get audio. I have audio on my other laptop with Firefox but not this one. I was going to un and then reinstall but Mozilla suggested I try to refresh. It doesn't work. Very frustrating. I missed out on a meeting because of this.

I'm not sure if this is a Firefox or Google problem, I'm guessing Firefox because it doesn't happen in Chrome.

Every time I try to login to google in Firefox it auto logs me into a specific account, I don't mean it is already logged in, I'm logged out and where the blank field is to enter your account username(email) the drop down pops up and shows all the gmail accounts and picks one on its own then procedes to the next page for the password on its own. It's like someone took control of the mouse and was doing it for me. Really pisses me off because I'm trying to login to a different account and it chooses the same one every time and I can't choose. If this is some kind of auto login feature please tell me how to turn it off.

macOS 10.15.7 Hello, is there a way to detect by command line, if an audio or video stream is active in any tab? I need to know that because I want to hinder certain scripts to execute while Firefox is streaming a video or an audio.

Adjusting the volume of any sound or video player in Firefox also affects the browser's overall volume in the operating system, making it difficult to raise the volume without a sudden increase in volume. I've set 'media.volume_scale' to 0.1 as a temporary fix, but adjusting it frequently is a hassle. I've tested this on my laptop with Linux Mint, and the issue is there as well. A user on Discord referred to this as intended behaviour, but I find it inconsistent and impractical for Firefox to be the only software that behaves this way and would like to change it.

My Firefox browser has been crashing for a while now (Years). It's fine playing YouTube and BBC iPlayer but when I advance the time marker to a different part of the stream or video, it crashes. It also has a problem when playing slots. It seems to crash a lot making it impossible to play.

I have tried using Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode but the same things happen.

I'm facing this problem of sound disappearance. I was casually browsing on YouTube when suddenly my sound went off. I thought maybe it was the internet but no everything was okay I also checked my speaker it was ok. Then I found out Firefox was unable to generate any sound. I tried to re-install but didn't work. Can you give me a solution?

I am using Firefox 136 browser and browsing my browser sound suddenly has disappeared. The PC sound is just fine with other applications, even with Opera browser I tested. Help is needed.
