When I start up Mozilla, my browser reads, "https://hp-search.com/?path=firefox/newtab&u=9dc0c90355bb6762&subid=11119&channel=default".

I've gone to "Add-on and themes"/"Extensions" and under "Enabled" I don't see anything related the "hp-search" extension. I've also gone to "Control Panel" / "Programs" / "Uninstall Programs" and the only HP related software on my computer is for a printer. Finally, I've gone to "Settings"/ "Programs" / "Installed Apps" (and also "Default Apps") and seen no reference to HP (again with the exception to my HP printer).

Any help on the above would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your help. Jim.

I recently had to reset my Windows operating system. After reinstalling Mozilla Firefox, I attempted to sign in to my Firefox account. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my password and had to reset it. Although I successfully signed in after resetting my password, none of my previously synchronized data, including passwords and bookmarks, appeared.

I had performed a synchronization before the reset, so I expected my data to be restored upon signing in. However, this did not happen, and I am now unable to access my important passwords and bookmarks. Could you please assist me in recovering my data? I rely heavily on this information for my daily activities and would greatly appreciate any help you can provide.

I have been a firefox user for 5 years now and i gave my laptop to repair and it was fixed with an ssd (HP NVMe SSD) to better performance and more speed and efficiency but in the process he rebooted and restarted the pc and now all my data is not there , i have some very important webpages and bookmarks in my firefox browser, i had signed in synced and done everything so that i get the data if something like this happens , however and only 3 or 4 bookmarks were imported and all the search history is gone and new even though i signed in with all my accounts and synced and tried to get the data , i remember that i did everything properly to sync and store the account data,search history,bookmarks and password s and now i am not able to get it and i tried doing it with all accounts i had logged in firefox.how do i get my search history,bookmarks,saved passwords back please tell?

Although the tab for "Autofill Payment Methods" is checked within the Privacy and Security section in settings, when I click on one of my various saved credit cards, autofill doesn't seem to happen anymore when I'm trying to make a payment. That applies to all of my saved credit cards.

Why, and what can I do about it?

I go through the process of signing into Firefox Sync, it sends the confirmation e-mail and i copy paste the code in, then it takes me to the mozilla accounts page and shows me all the data about my account, but when i click on sync under settings, it says "account disconnected" if i click "sign in" the process repeats with the end result being "account disconnected"

On the https://www.msnbc.com website, I cannot watch any videos.

I get the message "Sorry, the video player failed to load.(Error Code: 101102)"

The video player works on Safari on this website.

The makers of the Avada theme for WordPress adviced to set dom.events.testing.asyncClipboard to true for the copy paste function between sites. A function they have added recently.

However, here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1411533 I saw this comment:

"Recommendations to flip dom.events.testing.asyncClipboard to true are a fundamentally bad idea. This pref was meant for automated testing, and bypasses all security/permission checks on clipboard access.

If you toggle this pref, any site has full access to your clipboard all the time without asking you or you even noticing so we suggest that you do not touch that pref.

Had the same problem with firefox and outlook web.

My solution was:

  open "about:config" in firefox (type it in the webadress line and hit enter)
  accept the risk in the pop up
  type "clipboard" in the search line
  change the following settings (as shown in the image attachment) from false to true (klick on false)
  restart firefox (close it & open it again)"

The image attachment mentioned, showed that dom.events.testing.asyncClipboard WAS set to true. So now I am confused :-D.

Is it dangerous to set it true and why?

Since version 122 there is a problem with installing the Szafir SDK Web extension. It is necessary to be able to submit signatures online. After installing version 121, I was able to add the extension. After updating Firefox to version 130, the Szafir SDK Web extension still works, wich is good. The problem is that not everyone will handle it this way.

I tried adding the extension manually, but the same message is always returned. "The add-on cannot be installed because it appears corrupted."

Is there any solution to this problem?

Each time I close the firefox web browser I get logged out of my firefox account and out of all the different websites and emails I use. I have looked on the forum and tried the proposed solutions but it's not working: I disabled the "Clear history when Firefox closes" setting and I even did a refresh of firefox which also didn't solve the issue

when trying to log into Arizona state school, it uses duo authentication after typing in password and login it starts to try to authenticate then says 403 forbidden. but works fine on my laptop but it will not work on my desktop Ive looked through the forum done all the clear catch and enable site but still not having luck normally id continue on my laptop but i need multiple screens for the current class I'm doing and my laptop doesn't suffice.

I have recently changed from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and my computer is running extremely slow. It takes about a minute and sometimes longer to switch from one thing to another such as face book to messenger or my inbox. It almost seems as slow as a dial up connection would be . What seems to be the problem? I don't even know if you are the people I should be writing too, but maybe you have a suggestion?

Mam problem w arkuszach googla. Kiedy przewijam myszką od razu przenoszę się na ostatni dolny róg arkusza - ostatnią komórkę i wtedy scroll myszki jest zablokowany.Jedyny sposób przejścia na pierwszą komórkę to przewijanie suwakami. Dzieje się to tylko w firefoxie na jednym z kont do synchronizacji firefoxa. Na innych przeglądarkach działa to prawidłowo, na innym z kont również, nawet w dokumentach googla działa ok - tylko arkusze sprawiają problem. Nie potrafię przewijać myszką wiersz po wierszu. Wygląda tak jakby w ustawieniach przeglądarki było coś przełączone.

When I try to buy a billet in the site https://www.vivi.lv/lv/biletes/e-bilete/ on the paying stage (use Klix feature) the window start to blink. In the Chrome there is no such effect. I have recorded a short fragment. Trying to understand which setting may affect this. Don't found. This form suggest adding images, but I have a video. I've putted this video to YouTube.
