Hi,

I have Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird on my 'work' laptop. Firefox keeps asking for me to link other accounts. I have a personal aol email address. However, when I enter to sync my personal email with my work email, it says, 'Account Already Exists'. Yes, it exists since it is mine!

How do I get this fixed?

I frequently download excel worksheet files in the format of .xlsx The extension is not found in the Firefox options-files and applications-applications content type. It is not an option to choose this to save the file in a particular location--see attached screen shot. If it is under another name please let me know. There is an option to download excel worksheet files--only 97-2003, xlsx is an Excel 2016 worksheet. Why isnt this updated with the latest version of Firefox: 85.0.2 which I am using? Even if I select 'use excel 2016 (default)'--screen shot 2/ it does not have the option to remember where to save the file--only to open with or save, like the option for other files.--screenshot 3.

I just want it to always save to desktop.

This border appeared recently (weeks?) around three sides of the Windows Firefox Desktop version. It is annoying. Does not respond to any recommended fixes I have found on the same issue. Tried safe mode. Tried moving the task bar. Tried changing enlargement percentage. Tried rebooting after all of the above. Nothing working. Can't find a switch anywhere.

After your latest update you broke the bookmark star function. This is key to my role in my job and if it is not fixed in a reasonable amount of time then I will have to switch back to Chrome. The instructions say to right click the 3 dots but it does not offer up anything when done. Add to address bar is the only thing that shows up when you do right click on the 3 dots instead of add to address bar like the article says. Please fix this ASAP!!!!

Shopping carts are blocked from my viewing. I can no longer see what I purchased. Tried on several websites they all say it is my browser. Happened 2 days ago after a Firefox update. How do I fix?

Don't want to use either option advised by bank.

Talked with 2 PNC t/s staff, both said one can only use Edge or Chrome to access account now. HELP!!!!

Can you give me back my "Stuff" as it's all gone now after a change in my gmail because it wanted 3 days to confirm my request for a new password? I made a new account. After a support request to Moto G (when I could no longer download my moto g pictures), my personal files (i.e. recipes, research on US Covid 19 vaccines, and notes on anything from a Spanish learning program to family info, etc) was taken. Their tech support in the US, Ryan, helped me and it vanished and he says he can't reset it. Even though he had access through my cell and laptop.

"They" did leave me my creation "Family slide show" but not the historic one made for the elders.

i can't remember since when, but it's some time now, that if i download a ppt(x) file it's always, always broken.

1- it's broken beyond repair 2- the files are ok if i download using a third party app, like fdm 3- it's only ppt(x) files 4- no alerts or reports from my antivirus 5- i use ff 72.0.2

My Firefox web browser is configured to request pages in European Portuguese, namely by sending the HTTP Header: Accept-Language: pt,en;q=0.7,en-US;q=0.3 However, whenever accessing Mozilla web sites, the web server always choose to redirect to the page with the content in Brazilian Portuguese as can be confirmed looking also to the response HTTP header: localization: /pt-BR/ There are two errors, first the browser do not allow to add the Accept-Language as pt-PT so the server would make the correct judgement of the localization as a workaround since now W3C decided that pt stands for Portuguese from Portugal and all the other Portuguese speaking countries will have to add the capital letters of the respective country, meaning a Brazilian user should and currently can add the language Brazilian Portuguese as preferred language. Please kindly correct both the browser and the web site so the pages in European Portuguese can be seen at all.

Today my Firefox upgraded to 89.0. The new update has resized the toolbar etc at the top of my browser. Because it's now bigger my theme no longer fits, so I have an ugly blank bar that goes right across my bookmarks. The problem seems to be that the tabs area has increased in size. How can I resize this so that my theme fits again?

Every time I see New Improved Firefox I groan as it means that what I am used to no longer functions.

Case in point click on FF open page and I have 3 search bars and trying to use just the Firefox will not allow any type to show up just in top two.

1. How do I eliminate the top two?? 2. How when typing can I get it to show up in the Firefox address bar as it has done for the past 12 years???????

The search engines I've added do not appear in the list after clicking the green + sign in the search box and they do not appear in the list in the options either. I used the "add more search engines" found in the bottom of the search engines list to find the missing engines and add them again, but when I find the engine I want to add there is only the "remove" button. So this tells me the missing engines in the list are still there but not accessible. I tried removing the added search engine and then adding it again but this did not make them appear in the search engine list. Everything was working fine until getting the last update before Firefox 89. Is there a way to fix this???
