I have increasing instances of having my typed keyboard characters being replaced by garbage. This happens in search boxes within websites and even in input areas on the Firefox basic screen. Clearing my history and caches clear up the issue for a short time, closing Firefox and reopening Firefox clears it for a short time. While this issue occurs, I can still properly type with a Word document of Excel spreadsheet, so I type there (usually Word), cut what I typed and paste it into the proper part of the web screen.

This issue started up about a week ago. I am running under Windows 7 Home Premium, service pack 1, 32-bit operating system.

I have no images of the issue at this time.

When I went to open the vpn file, I got a message saying that it may contain malicious code that may harm my pc? Therefore Ive purchased the monthly payment but as of yet been unwilling to open the file. Also I got vpn in order to watch peacock T.V. as well as NBC and MSNBC Ive no idea how to access these programs in the U.S. as Im in Canada?

When I try to send a message I get this:

Firefox worked fine until the latest update 115.3esr, at time it slows to a crawl... I am now sick and tired of Mozilla and Firefox, they are about to get the boot - my style, I've used them since about version 2.

Looking in the task manager Mozilla makes it look a disgrace, at time it's hard to get a fix on some entry's because they bounce up and down.

Does these look about right? Why can't they just have one .exe? (Win 7 Pro x64)

Facebook requires me to have to update Firefox even though I have the latest version! Could it be because my computer only has Windows 7? Can't find no free upgrade to 10 anymore ... buy without money will not go! I really need help!

I'm running the latest FF under Win7. Seems that whenever I go to the Merriam-Webster (dot) com site, after a few seconds, my disk activity light goes solid, and the FF CPU usage spike to 10-25%. One time, to regain control of my system (because everything seemed hung) I actually had to resort to the physical power-down switch. Obviously I immediately ran a virus scan upon coming back up (scan showed all okay). Now, if I stay away from Merriam-Webster, FF behaves normally. But it's a damned dictionary site. I occasionally will need to use it or stumble into it. I've used MW in the past without problems. Does anyone know what's going on?

I am using Windows 7 and Firefox 115.5. When I close Firefox, it stalls and after a minute I get an error message saying Windows Explorer is hung up. Then if I can get an option to close the program. I have tried many ways to exit Firefox but nothing helps this. Thanks.

hello, many years ago, I used to be able to keep my browser history for years. now it only saves about 1 year and 6 months. since it is my memory, I found it very helpful. I can't find any information on how to customize that feature so it is never deleted. I'm using firefox 115.2.1esr on windows 7. thanks a lot for your help.

I am using waterfox G6.0.5 ()64bit), that seems to work, but I would prefer firefox 115, that was working OK until a week ago..

the above has no error code, and the link seems unresponsive..

I am using the latest Palemoon browser, and have no problem with youtube or other google services.. (use 'whatismybrowser' to find the 'user string'..)

firefox downloads articles with folder symbol indicating a successful save, then later dozens of articles show circle-arrow indicating that large numbers of articles did NOT download after all. I have to click each circle-arrow individually (20 or 30 or more sometimes) to "re-download" them, VERY VERY aggravating.
