There is a little robot in my search bar, that makes my search bar orange with a lighter orange stripe pattern. When I hover my mouse over the robot it says "this browser is under remote control". I have googled and looked everywhere for more information about this, as I am completely unaware on what it is. Could someone tell me what it is and what it does? I really just want to make sure it isn't a virus, and that I don't need to keep covering my camera anymore.

Managing container still isn't easy. You can reopen a tab in a "no container" by clicking ON the tab itself but this option isn't available in the "always open this site in"

There NO option to move the "X coloc" tab to a "no" container.

For site that open new tab it doesn't open new tab in the same container

Exemple : Spotify i managing 2 account (one for me, one for the kids). I chose to alway open it in the "green" container, but as i try to login with Gmail while in the green, it open in a new "no container" tab instead of opening in a "green one". Worst i can see it going from green to orange no black.

So, only way to really do it for not : "X coloc tab" an use a private browsing

Mac OS 10.10.2 Firefox 78.9

Problem: When I go back from full screen mode, the half top of tabs(more like the 2/3 part to the tab) becomes not clickable. Only way to solve it is just to restart the browser.

There is another thing that could provide a bit more info. No matter whether I've ever made it full screen or not, the 2/3 top area of the tabs will never turn grey when I put my mouse on it.

No add-ons and themes installed. Tried safe mode and it didn't works.

The same bug exists on the other Mac, which runs an older version of firefox.

When holding Ctrl and clicking the back arrow at the top left manually, it opens a new tab with the URL of the previous page, as it's supposed to. But for some reason, when I hold Ctrl and press the back button on my mouse, it doesn't do the same. This is quite annoying, as sometimes I need to navigate back, but keep the current page open as well, and this forces me to move my mouse cursor all the way to the top left and back again

I was using Duck Duck Go to search on subjects, and as I was looking at the pages it listed I suddenly could not open any of the links returned at all. I have Firefox set to open links in a new tab, but it stopped working suddenly, and would not open the links at all. Why might this be?

i will like to know how i can drop to the garbage the new tabs on Firefox devs.. they are nonfunctional and bigger and looks like a shit to me.. i will like to know how i can get back to the old style tabs... PLEASE HELP

At 12:40 am, on opening Firefox, I Lost open tabs (>70) and windows (4-5) from previous Firefox sessions that I had been restoring each time I opened Firefox over the past weeks (i.e., used to automatically restore on clicking the "Restore Session" on opening Firefox). Now Unable to Restore lost tabs (>70) and windows (4-5) from those previous sessions [On opening Firefox, "Restore session" button was missing and the firefox window displayed a blank page]. I closed and opened Firefox and have been unable to restore previously open tabs and windows (Using Firefox Version 88, Windows 10). Please advise.

This is the first time in 20 years I have had to query a change in a new Firefox version that is bot wanted.

I want to bookmrk a PAGE not a TAB.

How do I alter this please - or do I have to change to Safari

The tabs on one of my Firefox windows got really small. Very small and very annoying when trying to click on one tab. I don't know how it happened, and I can't find a way to change them back. I did the usual stuff: rebooted the PC, closed Firefox and restarted, closed that one window and opened it again. No change in the situation. I didn't open, or close, any new tabs on that window. Like a little kid would say: "It was like that when I got here!"

I've seen the threads on minimum tab size and such, but I don't think that will help me, because the tabs in the other windows haven't changed.

I've attached some pictures to illustrate the relative sizes of the tabs. The one with larger tabs is from a crowded window, the one with smaller is from the window I'm complaining about. They were normal size, now they aren't. Help! Please?

I lost a session with many tabs.

Unfortunately "Restore previous session" was not available. I found a upgrade.jsonlz4 file with a date and time which would have the tabs on it. The size is larger than other ones so I figured this was the best option. I coppied this and pasted it into profiles. Renamed it sessionstore.jsonlz4... Renamed the sessionstore that was in there already to sessionstoreOLD Restarted firefox and when I click on restore previous session button I just get 2 blank tabs.

I then tried the other files which are significantly smaller but still no dice.

I tried the jefferson scrounger and it just gets stuck on "processing"

Any help would be much appreciated.

I desperately miss a forward/backward button that allows me to surf back and forth across tabs in my entire survival history. The current system is completely overloaded and you can't find the last tab again.

My tabs failed to open after a Firefox crash. There is nothing else than a 2 kb file in sessionstore backups. Is there anything else I can do, or is all lost? 1200 is a lot, and those tabs hold great value to me. So I'm kind of desperate right now. Any help would be immensely valued! (I will start using a session backup plugin for sure.)

I've spent quite alot of time setting up my Firefox "New Tab" layout with the 32 site links I want and all the right logo pics to go with them (sounds simple, but it was NOT), and so on and so on. Now, I'm wondering how I can save all that work so that if something goes awry (Say WHAT??), I won't have to recreate it again (which I probably wouldn't have the willpower to do). I've done lengthy searching on the internet looking for this answer but have not found one. I have "Saved This Page" under "File" but will that will save all the formatting, the layout, the links, logos, etc. of the New Tab page? I don't know that nor am I confident of that. ''''Does anyone know if there a way to save all the user customization of the "New Tab" layout? Also, why can't I take a screenshot of a New Tab page? The tool icon grays out when on a new tab page.
