I saw many tutorials on making self-signed certificates get a lock sign of trusted certificate, which were installing the root certificate of authority in firefox which i did, and also installed in windows, i am using latest version of firefox developer edition, this is error i recieve:

Websites prove their identity via certificates. Firefox Developer Edition does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for 192.168.0.102. The certificate is only valid for the following names: localhost, 192.168.0.102, 172.20.10.3

Hello, I am currently having an annoying issue when browsing Firefox on particular websites. There's this large, irremovable white bar at the bottom of the screen that appears when I'm browsing particular websites (it only appears on those and those websites only), but it never appears on other websites and there doesn't seem to be a way to remove it. I've tried clearing cookies and cache, disabling certain extensions but nothing has seemed to work so far. I'm currently using the Firefox Nightly, but the same exact issue is present on the same exact websites (developer.mozilla.org, codewars.com, etc.) on my regular version of the browser. This is getting really annoying and I don't want to switch to a Chromium-based browser, so is there any way to fix this annoying issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

before the update if i opened a new tab the it opened after my active tabs, now its reserved and its open before them (between my pinned and not pinned tabs) any solution to reserve this change?

i never received a Firefox account recovery key for my kjmarks@att.net email account. Also I just opened a new Firefox account for [edited email from public] @gmail.com and have not gotten the key. What's going on?

The new update just installed. What happened to my palm frond home page look!!?? I loved that. How can I get it back? OR at least, where do I go to change what this looks like and pick something else?? - Eileen

After updating to 106.0 (64-bit), I'm seeing an error when trying to open the new tab page ("Oops, something went wrong loading this content.")

Troubleshooting mode does not help.

The browser console shows the following error:

I suspect that the new tab page is not correctly handling the preferences I have set.

I receive this error message for several sites that I know are secure (i.e., dvd.netflix.com): "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified." How do I override this?

Some of the pages on Amazon.com now load the images and text in different places than normal and some are only partial pages. Anyone know how to fix it?

Hi, I have been a Firefox user for 30 years, so I want to comment on your product. Every year I notice the performance of the browser getting worse and worse, more and more errors unexpected closures and slowdowns, it's bad to work because such small crashes make you look for another alternative. I do not write this maliciously, but that you think about how to improve the performance and speed of firefox. I only hope that someone wise will read this and pass it on to the higher-ups to make real changes.

In any case, you are going in the right direction and I still consider firefox with the most friendly and easy to use browser.

I'm on two Apple machines, both running Monterey 12.6, a 2014 Intel Mac Mini and a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro. Both updated to Firefox 106.0 yesterday. The MacBook Pro seems fine, but the Mac Mini "bookmarks.html" file is not being updated. I noticed this as when I run backups, I have a script that copies the file from my profile into a folder so the backup program can back it up along with other files.

In the profiles location I have a folder named "bookmarkbackups" and a file named "bookmarks.html." Is there a setting that needs to be set/changed so the html file continues to be updated?

I can't get in to my email and I want to know why and what to do. I noticed that, at the bottom of this HELP ? page, it says to "email me when someone answers the thread". I CAN'T GET IN TO MY EMAIL, SO HOW IS THIS GOING TO HELP ME ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
