How do I export my address book (and not my whole profile). I used to be able to send it to a CSV or LDIF file but those options appear to have all disappeared. I do not want to export my profile - it is way too big.

Hello I have both Firefox and Thunderbird My old laptop using WIN 10 is was past it's prime. I got a new one WIN 11 and want to pick up and move everything from both apps to the new laptop. PW saved docs e-mails and URLs everything and I just can't find a way to do it. Can someone please help me. I did install a new Firefox on the new PC but it won't work and the setting are not the same ( account settings and such don't match )

I always start my Firefox and restore from last opened state. I have used tab groups for a while and had a few of them saved&closed while I used some just a few days ago. Now all my groups are gone. Which is kind of annoying, since I used one Tab Group for my thesis and it had about 150 tabs or so with references and sources that I used.

Is there any way to restore tab groups? Are they stored externally somewhere in the instal directory?

Logged out all my personal accounts from my computer while I had it serviced but I couldn't get my bookmarks and passwords back after logging out in Firefox. Tried some troubleshooting steps including logging out from all device but now even my phone, which previously had the bookmarks and passwords saved, are missing it

I have had to reset windows, after reset I also upgraded to Windows 11. I have to reinstall all programs including Firefox but understood all my data would be available and most of it is. I have reinstalled Firefox but did not have immediate access to my old Bookmarks and Passwords etc. I have found the Windows.old file but that only contains Microsoft files, nothing from Mozilla. I use File History as a backup but only for my personal data files.Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get the Firefox Profiles back please?

All of a sudden, unable to save bookmarks or to export them. Integrity report says (see below). Have restarted Windows 10 and FIrefox several times, no joy. Help!

When i register a new computer it freezes on Sync and i wait 15 minutes and even not 1 site synced. i already have 3 PC in Sync,, but i need it in one another PC but Sync freezez, i have tried 2nd new PC at my office and still same plroblem. i added 2 nd email, also downloaded APP on phone, signed out and then renew,, but no result. please fix it and send me an answer ;) in this PC it is synced already.

After entering my windows log in many, many times in "Export logins" Firefox says wrong password. I am logged into outlook and microsoft account settings as well...how can this be the wrong password???

I had to quit Firefox this morning because of a problem with my proxy and when it reopened it had updated to Firefox 139. In the process, I lost my entire browsing history and all open tabs from my previous session. Although in settings I have "Open previous windows and tabs" selected always, when Firefox restarted the browsing history was empty and "Restore previous session" was not an option under history, nor were "Recently closed tabs" or "Recently closed windows." I cannot locate any backup files in the Firefox library on my computer (MacBook Air running Ventura 13.7.5). I really need to be able to restore the previous session, please let me know if this is possible.

Is there any program to recover the profile? Using Firefox and LibreWolf, I find that when I reinstall the program, the saved profile from a previous version isn't recognized by Firefox or LibreWolf. There's no way to recover the entire profile without problems; it can only be achieved by copying a few files from the old profile to the new one.

For a long time, it has been impossible for both browsers to transfer/copy a previous profile to the new installation, for example, from version 137 to version 139.

I just downloaded Firefox for Mac OS on my Macbook Air. Doesn't look like the bookmarks, their folders, the most recent passwords have synced from the Mobile version of the software to the desktop here on my Mac.

Hi! So I have both a (admittedly pretty old) laptop and a desktop, and thus every so often manually move my backups to and fro. I have cookies and cache that I cannot afford to lose because there'd be no 'backup' for them, it isn't stored anywhere else, so if it's gone, it's gone. Just today I was doing the same old, going to /Roaming and /Local, zipping them, moving them over on a usb. But today I see that alot of my roaming files have a '.corrupt' and is listed as a 'corrupted file'. My firefox is still working, I'm even using it right now, but I'm nervous that could change and I might lose access to the cookies and cache. It'd also suck to lose my passwords and bookmarks as well. Any advice so that I don't get a nasty surprise later?

WHAT IS THE POINT IN HAVING RECOVERY KEY IF IT DOES NOT WORK? AND NO I DID NOT ENTER IT IN CORRECTLY BECAUSE i COPIED AND PASTED IT FROM THE ORIGINAL. iS THERE REAL NO WAY TO GET ALL MY BOOKMARKS BACK?

I have selected the option to update when I want. Why am I subjected to constant harassment? Every tab, every window, every EVERYTHING, I am asked if I want to update or dismiss. Please, for the LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, please stop.

I know that my browser is out of date. I know there is an upgrade available. I am literally considering no longer using your browser because every time I open it, it asks me if I want to update. Even if I updated 48 hours ago, there is usually some newer feature. I DO NOT WANT TO UPDATE MY BROWSER EVERY DAY OR EVEN EVERY WEEK. SO STOP ASKING ME EVERY TIME I OPEN A NEW TAB OR PAGE. You are literally making me dislike your otherwise very good product.

After forced Windows 10 shutdown, Firefox starts up with a five months old session. I need the last one

Can I find a kind of backup of my last session in my profile folder? I need windows and tabs. Bookmarks are not affected by the shutdown

I accidentally uninstalled my Firefox browser, fully updated, on my Windows 10 PC, with Google search engine. A folder appeared on my desktop entitled Old Firefox Data. I have downloaded Firefox again but how do I transfer all the old Firefox data onto the new browser so that I have all the old information back in the same place?

Sometimes, when I first boot up & open Firefox, I am given the option of problem fixing, but extension button are removed. What is the benefit of this process?
