I have been having issues with Firefox since the new update. It will work for 5-10 minutes and then cashes and freezes my Macbook. I then have to restart my entire system. I have always loved using Firefox but lately its more of a pain and have been thinking of changing,

I have tried over several days to uninstall and reinstall Firefox to avoid tabs constantly crashing. While I've done this and multiple shut downs and restarts it continues to crash and can't figure out why. Please help.

hi when I play on facebook june's journey the game starts to crash in several different ways, windows 10 is supposed to start on october but I have been having lots of problems on mine since they send the end agreement notice, I am a 76 grandparent and I am not interested in new changes I am ok with my computer as it is, I've paid for windows 10 when it came out, and i will not pay again for a new one. Appreciate all the help I can get from you and many thanks in advance for your help

I upgraded my Dell PC to Windows 11 yesterday via Windows Update, since support for Windows 10 is ending. Now Firefox crashes often when I close the browser. Everything works fine while I'm using Firefox, it's only when I close the browser that sometime later I will get a crash message on my desktop. I have tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it, and the problem persists. From what I can tell, there's some process which is ongoing after the browser is closed, which isn't terminating properly and that's why it's crashing. When I open Firefox for the first time after logging in to my macbook, after a few minutes, a second Firefox icon appears in the dock at the bottom of the screen. Why is this happening (only started a few days ago)? And how do I stop it?

I usually use firefox to download things, and watch videos, however, sometimes, when I change tabs, try to minimise firefox, close a pop up, even if I just pause a video, it randomly decides to instead completely freeze and require the app to be completely restarted, and it occasionally decides to roll back my search history.

In fact, Firefox crashed as I was writing this, i'm lucky my progress was saved, these issues have made firefox completely unusable about 70%-80% of the time, and i'm running out of browsers to switch to, opera is run on lies, chrome is just bad, and now firefox is dying.

Just for reference, no other application or web browser that has ever been on my current device has ever acted like this, I'm currently using a decent PC running Windows 10

The x appears in the tab, and when I click on it, the program disappears. I bring it back up and it repeats. Have tried closing the program, restarting the computer, using the Close Tab from the File menu, CTRL-W, yelling at it loudly, but nothing has worked. I cannot update the iOS in this computer. Firefox is up to date. Several programs I need can only run on Firefox , not Safari, so I need it. I now have so many open tabs that I can't find anything. HELP!

Why do I have to keep signing up with you? What causes this? I"m happy with your service yet periodically, I keep getting transferred to Windows because Mozilla is not responding when I attempt to log on. Then it is necessary to go through the whole process of signing up again. Please bear in mind I am not computer literate. Thank you.

I wasn't sure what to select for the type of question so you can move it if you think another type would be better. I would have selected crashes but that isn't an option.

It happened again a few minutes ago while watching Star Trek First Contact. The Phoenix was about to go to warp and Firefox CTD with no crash reporter and when I looked in about:crashes there was no crash report. This exact situation happened twice while watching the movie Signal unknown or whatever the title is.

is anyone else having issues with this POS browser shutting down unexpectedly FREQUENTLY for NO reason. I thought the first dozen or so times it was updates, but only once or twice there was mention of new feature. I am SO over it and think Chrome with it's risks IS the smarter move

I've been having this problem recently on Windows 11 with Firefox, where switching my input language to japanese (ALT + SHIFT keys) causes the browser to crash immediately. This happens about half to one third of the times I do it. It didn't happen before and I'm rather confused.

Searching on Google brought up a few similar experiences, such as this one, but the suggested fix (switching intl.tsf.enable to false on the about:config page) didn't work for me.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you very much in advance 😊
