I sign onto BROTHER-USA.COM to inquire about ink for my Brother printer. I key in the model and get a "Drivers Search Results" with no printer found nor displayed. Keeps looping or searching, I suppose. This same inquire works fine with any other browser, but not Firefox. Can you advise which Firefox settings is preventing any response from the Brother website? I wrote yesterday but my post doesn't appear today. Today I got the message about bookmarks and history not functioning and eventually found something in Firefox that said it was probably due to "some security software." I have now gone into Windows settings and my security updates are done, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do now. This is an extremely annoying and disruptive issue. I see that several other people are experiencing it, so it's interesting that the note next to their posts state that no one else is having the same problem. Can someone please help us all to get our bookmarks and history back?

I don't know if this is the proper topic, but I'm not sure what to call it. For the longest time I've had an issue with the settings being reset every time I open the browser - all my add-ons are off, all my configurations return to the original state, every single time. I have to manually turn them on all over again every time. Does anybody else has the same issue? Can it be solved somehow? Do I need to redownload Firefox or something?

Hello. I'm having trouble with my Bookmarks Menu. All it shows is my recent Bookmarks. When I click on manage bookmarks. It shows the folders that are supposed to be in the Bookmarks Menu. And I can see the Bookmarks I have added to those folders. But none of it shows up in the Bookmarks tab in my Firefox browser menu. It just says recent bookmarks at the top. And of course shows my recent Bookmarks. Any suggestions on how I can get it to show my folders?

I'm not exactly clueless, but I'm not an engineer. For some reason, I had three open Firefox/Mozilla browsers open on the taskbar but connected to one icon. Today, I've lost the browser with all of my frequently used sites, and tons of research, family, friends, World War II, finances, etc. The other two browsers had one tab, and maybe ten-fifteen tabs, respectively.

How do I restore the main browser?

You cant just delete all my bookmarks. Im almost in tears to have lost so much. This is beyond a joke, beyond any kind of punishment or war-crime.

How can you have the ability to delite so many bookmarks that people treasure and live with on a whim through b.s. with no apology, no meaning or reason given.

You are atrocious. This action will have caused immeasurable pain and grief to me because you suddenly decide one day you can wipe out all bookmarks on an account for no reason at all.

Running Windows 11. Recently there is a small gear symbol on the Firefox icon in the Taskbar. I don't want it there and it's irritating as hell. Apparently it has something to do with profile. I don't care what it has to do with, I want it to go away. I went to about:config and set browser.profiles.enabled to false, but every time I restart Firefox, it apparently gets set to true again.

There is no reason for Firefox to have forced this visual change on users. How do I make the gear go away permanently? The gear goes or Firefox gets uninstalled and I'll go back to Chrome.

Hi there. I accidentally downloaded an app "startfenster.de" when updating VLC player. I deleted the app from my laptop but the website still opens whenever I start firefox. I tried changing the settings for the Browser, cleaning the cache, rebooting the laptop but nothing works. What can I do? The website https://www.startfenster.de/ doesn't seem to be dangerous but I still fnid it rather annoying. Thank you for your help! Katrin

georgiasown.org does not fully function in firefox browser. The website opens but some of the graphics are missing and when I click on Log In nothing happens. This started about two weeks ago. Have been daily going to this website for over 10 years in the Firefox browser. I do not have this issue when using Microsoft Edge browser.
