I wish to switch to a new primary laptop. I normally use multiple machines in the course of a day. I have probably hundreds of open tabs on my main computer and even though I checked "Open Tabs" for sync, they never show on my other devices.

Following previous help recommendations I searched for the json sessions file...it doesn't exist anywhere on my system. The only other "help" was to "tap" tabs in the lower right corner. There is nothing in the lower right corner unless, perhaps on a phone, which isn't the device in question.

Hello, my old laptop broke. I bought a new one, installed Firefox, and signed into my Firefox account. My add-ons synced, but my passwords and bookmarks are gone. I can't access the old laptop now. Is there a way to fix this without a backup file? Or are add-ons the most I can get? Both devices have been added to the devices in the Firefox account.

My firefox deleted all my passwords and bookmarks last night. I manually inputed everything from scratch and now it has all deleted again. I pressed sync no multiple times and nothing is popping up. I am extremely annoyed. If this isn't resolved I must switch to a new browser.

after a fresh reload of windows was performed on my machine, I signed into my Mozilla account but none of my bookmarks were appearing after the successful sign in. When I tried syncing it still did not appear. There are bookmarks that I had saved on firefox that are essential.

15/12/2025 I need to sync my firefox data from my old windows 10 laptop to my new windows 11 laptop. Do I have to download the firefox app on to my new laptop before I can sync it, and will I need a new password if I have to download the app. Im using my old password on my old laptop to write this. On the new laptop, I tried to sign into firefox on the internet but, it said my password is wrong. I'm an oldie and have no idear what to do. Iwill be very grateful for any help. Many Thanks,

I have finished my setup. But it keeps saying "finish setup" in the upper right corner of the browser. I have completed all the steps. I want to sync this desktop to my mozilla account. What do I do?

i recently switched to zorin os from windows 11 and i noticed my firefox data was gone (despite being signed in + syncing my passwords) could it be my wifi? an unrecognized device? its the same laptop + network so idk what

not sure how to bring Firefox bookmarks from my old laptop to my new one. Hate to lose them all ! i got a new lap top, have signed into Firefox, but don't see my bookmarks. Help.

How can I transfer open tabs from my old computer to my new one? Syncing is enabled, and the sync tabs checkbox is checked, but the tabs aren't syncing on the new device. I also couldn't find any separate function to load tabs.

After using firefox for most of my life i am disappointed with the current service i am receiving. I have recently purchased a new laptop with windows 11 installed & no matter how many times i try my passwords are not being synced. I have imported them from my last device but the only password that is showing is the mozilla firefox account. Please help as i am constantly having to change my passwords as the previous ones are not shown. Thanks

New computer. Cannot import bookmarks or passwords. cannot save bookmarks or passwords. Will be forced against my will to use Microsoft. Sync won't easily connect old computer to new. Only computer to phone. Help ! old win 10 new win 11

I have made a fresh install of Windows 11 from Windows 10, and after logging into my account everything syncs, apart from my bookmarks. As i have made a fresh install, i deleted all of my old files on the computer. Is there any way to get my bookmarks back?

I am trying to synchronise my web browser on my phone to my laptop, but when I try to do so using the QR code I get an error saying I need to use a Mozilla app to do it rather than my phone camera app (see attached)

I can’t find anywhere in my Firefox browser settings this app!

Help!!
