I've been using what I gather is an "older" profiles system via about:profiles.

Now if I:

1. go to about:profiles and open my second profile in another window, 2. close second window and about:profiles page, 3. open about:profiles again in first window,

I get "Another copy of Firefox has made changes to profiles. You must restart Firefox before making more changes."

This happens every single time, even though I've made zero changes to profiles, and is extremely annoying.

Can/should I migrate my profiles to the new profile manager? How to do this?

Recently, Firefox has been slow and crashes regularly. I try to sync tabs but after it crashes and I reopen it goes back to a much older save and lose tabs I've recently opened or sometime after a crash and reopen it tries to open a window with no tabs and I lose all my tabs

For a long time I have been using Firefox, because of its performance and customizability. I detest that modern companies have to shove AI into any program even where it is uterly useless. I already don't like the current AI that Firefox has already added. Firefox has alreay lost a lot of my trust in recent years. Should Firefox continue with adding more AI features, I will be switching to a better browser.

I accidentally clicked remember on my credit card when checking out from a cite. I do not understand how to delete it. Every guide online says there is a tab under "Privacy & Security", but when I look for it it does not exist. I have tried searching, cross-referencing its placement in the menu from the videos, but I cant find it. I've cleared my data from the last 2 hours, but still no difference. From the videos it should be between Password and History, but the setting is not there.

Hi, i synced everything, in your browser, checked it few times, i had all my bookmarks from chrome to firefox few months ago, reinstalled windows, downloaded firefox and connected to account its clean, no of my information is there, wtf? i forgot the password, so recovered it. Give back my data for fuck sake, or it was mistake comming from chrome to firefox?

I can complete the sign in and enter my password, and then I get a spinning wheel and can no longer click on the tabs or minimize the window. I have to force close it and it shows as not signed it. I've also tried signing in using my phone and the QR code, same thing. This happens with or without 2FA, I turned it off and the issue persists. Everything else about the browser works completely but I can't sync across devices without the Mozilla login working.

Mir würde es sehr viel besser gefallen, wenn ein neues Lesezeichen immer automatisch oben im erwählten Lesezeichenordner einsortiert wird. Ist das irgendwo einstellbar?

I do not need or want AI. The vast majority of firefox users, many of whom transferred to get away from AI, would agree. What for, anyway? To name tab groups? How is that worth spiking the use of my CPU and power? I switched to firefox *years* ago for one reason: it runs much better than chrome and it was committed to privacy and such. I know there are options to turn off these and the other AI features but with the CEO's desire to make firefox a "modern AI browser" I fear it will only get worse. How long will it stay optional? I might as well leave now and get used to waterfox, before firefox becomes utterly enshittified and unusable.

I synced my data today in mozilla and after that i reinstalled windows on my PC. now i installed fresh mozilla and logged in into my account but my data is not synced... i lost a lot of open tabs,bookmarks etc... what can i do? is synced version still somewhere or what? i did everything as i supposed to do but i cant see my previous open tabs and bookmarks..
