I created a bespoke home page of icons to my most frequently used URL's. Most of these have disappeared How can I restore them without having to recreate each individual icon/url? NB. These have been on my home page some for years, today they are gone.

I'd like to open specific site pages in a specific container and also allow other than those specific site pages to open in any container. Assigning containers by deep-link or :[port] would help with web dev and content authoring. e.g.:

WordPress sites:

• Bulleted list itemwordpress.example.com/wp-admin/* pages open in my assigned container
• Bulleted list itemwordpress.example.com pages other than /wp-admin/ open in any container (without the "Open this site in your assigned Container?" warning).

This helps me to see updates as an unauthenticated user or as another authorized user assigned another role.

I can't send the Times crossword to my printer. When I click on "Print" from the Crossword web-page it only allows me to save it as a pdf. I never had this problem until today. It used to be that clicking on "Print" would allow me either to save or send to my printer. Now there is no choice. Everything works fine if I use Microsoft Edge or my tablet (Android), but it won't work with FireFix on my desktop running Windows 10.

I use Firefox on two desktops and a Surface tablet.

A few weeks ago, on the tablet, I became unable to highlight (and therefore copy) any text on Firefox. I can do so on the desktops, and the functionality is still there on all other applications on the tablet, so it's a Firefox thing.

I have been unable to find anything about this online. Could there be a setting that got changed or something else?

Since the latest upgrade, when I click on a linked document (either in an e-mail or on a webpage) and choose to open it in Firefox, the address on the new tab is file:///C:/Users/... rather than the actual URL of the document. This is very problematic for me, I do a lot of newsletter and social media work and I frequently need to be able to share document URLs (they are often sent to me for that purpose). How can I adjust my Firefox settings so clicking on a link takes me to the actual URL? I already changed the Settings / General / Applications selections to Always Ask, and it does always ask, but when I choose "Open with Firefox" I get a file:///C:/Users/... string in the search bar rather than the URL I need.

These are not documents saved on my computer. When I click on an e-mail link to open a document in Firefox, the search bar shows a file:///C:/Users/... string. When I click links on webpages (even links I've posted myself), the document opens in a new tab with a file:///C:/Users/ prefix rather than showing the actual URL. I do a lot of work by sharing online files so this is really messing me up. Prior to the most recent Firefox upgrade, I would always get a shareable URL automatically. I just want the opening mechanism to go back to the way it was.

any help to be greatly appericated I have tried everything roboform but it is a big circle and no help I had roboform password got lost I was advised to change password but was advised in ordre to change password I had to enter password du I don't have a password to chang it has been a downward spirial ever since can you Help!!?

I have issues clearing "Save to PDF" from FireFox from the print preview. My company uses Firefox ESR for our Linux workstations.

I updated the about:config to disable the print options and still no luck. I even set the ~/.mozilla/firefox/*.default/prefs.js to following:

lockPref("print.save_as_pdf.internal_destinations.enable", false); lockPref("print.save_as_pdf.links.enabled", false); lockPref("print.save_print_settings", false);

I removed print_printer which had Mozilla Save to PDF

Nothing seems to remove the "Save to PDF". A liability for my company. Even went to about:support and clicked on "Clear saved Print Settings" and still nothing.

Any suggestions?

When viewing a WikiSpecies page with many displayed links (e. g., https://species.wikimedia.org/wiki/Cymindidina), clicking an unopened (light-colored) link opens it to a new page and turns the link color to a dark blue. This display is controlled by the choice "Never" on the Firefox "Settings/Colors" page. The colors of links seem predetermined by "Never", which also enables unused links to be shown red.

Is there any way to change the clicked-on link color from a fairly dark blue to a darker one, while still showing unused, empty links as red?

My eyesight is not the best, and a darker blue "Never", if possible, would help me be sure I had visited a page.

We have some issues to get Microsoft Stream work in our internal webpage. After unblocking Third-party cookies we Microsoft Stream is not getting auto signed in. Is there setting we have missed to make sure the auto sign in is working ?

When i type in the search bar "list of active shortcut keys I get no answer except for a few people complaining and not anything relevant to the question asked. Why is this?

A customer shared his Firefox login with me to share his passwords. I logged in with his account, downloaded his passwords and logged out directly afterwards, but now he is reporting that he has ALL my passwords. How can undo this? I never gave him access to my account and I never clicked on sync or something?

I am trying to better myself in terms of security do's and don'ts and one thing I don't understand

The primary password is for encrypting/guarding the files which store my logins, correct?

After unlocking with my primary password the files are no longer encrypted/guarded and I can use my logins but another party could snatch them as well?

Now here is the thing, I thought there was a setting in about:config as default so the password timeouts after 15 minutes, I looked and it was there and I didnt touch it and I dont use any extensions which tamper with sessions or passwords

But I don't have to retype my primary password the whole day normally, only when I close and reopen Firefox? How can it still have access to my logins all day? And is that bad like are all my logins unencrypted in my RAM or something?

Greetings- I was using my browser (single window, three open tabs) and I checked task manager - Firefox has several concurrent processes running and I don't understand. I understand the sandbox and one process having several child processes, but this I believe is suspect.

I also noticed that in the "Security at a glance" window in Win11, my icons have changed - there's a weird white box on most of the security icons. I'm thinking I may be under some sort of virus/trojan, etc., yet I've ran antivirus even in prior to boot and got nothing
