I have downloaded downloaded language packs English UK and French France, but when I spell check in Mozilla the only option in the open menu for language there is only English US to use even though the other two preferred languages have been downloaded. Am I missing a trick to activate the languages so that they show in my language menu when spell checking?

Very frustrating that I only have a default of US considering I am in France and use French and UK English.

When copying and pasting from one application to another, by using Ctrl + Shift + V to paste without format to Google Docs, I keep getting a "Paste" pop up that I've never gotten until now. It keeps getting in the way and I don't see a way to remove it.

It's making copying and pasting very difficult and is driving me up the wall.

Firefox crashes whenever it would need access to my camera or microphone. So far it has only happened whn trying to access a Roll20 game with camera and microphone connectivity, and when trying to access a video appointment for Universal Credit. It never happened on Windows 10, but since updating to Windows 11 it happens every time without fail, and the crash is immediate.

Last time the Fire Fox updates I noticed a weird change with the browser's behavior. the browser keeps crashing just anywhere I go! I keep losing my tabs and got kicked out of the browser losing the webpages where I was! Please fix this problem and for now at the moment I would be ok if I could go back to the last old version before that happen? I appreciate your help guys!

These icons appeared recently in my Firefox browser I can't remove them. The only recent changes included uninstalling SuperAntiSpyware after finding that Microsoft PC Manager is a better option, which has performed excellently without issues.

Additionally, a free VPN (Proton) was briefly used from the Firefox browser without installation, but after finding it complicated to set up, it was deleted. A few hours later, I noticed the two icons as the windows were misbehaving and they are causing a slowdown in the PC's performance. They do not seem to be add-ons or extensions.

How do I remove the icons and return to the previous performance?

I have just had to replace my PC following a bit of a disaster with my old one. The new PC has Windows 11. As usual I downloaded Firefox as I always use this. Somewhere in the installation of Firefox I must have been asked about blocking ads, but I don't remember. Now all ads are blocked, which I don't mind, but some sites are asking me to disable my ad-blocker if I want to use their site. Mostly I don't but there is one I need to use, so I would like to add that site as an exception, but I cannot find any mention of any ad-blocker in settings. Where do I find this? and how do I add exceptions?

The only add-on that I have in Firefox is the 'Privacy Badger' which could be the problem I suppose, but I can't see the website listed in the ones Privacy Badger is blocking.

Any help would be appreciated

My wife's old Windows 10 HP laptop quit working last week do to some Operating System failure while it was trying to do an update. It finally did a reboot and now it is useless, at least as it is! It will NOT complete the boot process after trying all of the options offered. All that I am able to is exit out of Windows to a "DOS prompt." I am able to get to the Mozilla Firefox folder and others contain within. The new Windows 11 laptop I bought her is working fine with a fresh Firefox browser installed about a week ago. What she wants is her web links, settings and saved passwords "copied" from the old laptop and installed on the new one! We have no idea how many there are to retrieve! I'm hoping that there might only be one folder that I can copy via "command line" prompt to a USB drive and move the file(s) to the new laptop the same way. Can anyone tell me what I need to know? I don't have access to the primary email to do anything. I do have the secondary email entered but it's asking for a code from the primary email to change it, like I mentioned we don't have access to. Is there any help for this. Hate to lose what we have.

When using Firefox to access certain sites on this laptop such as Marriott.com, United.com, AA.com and Spirit.com, after I login and start a search I get an Access Denied message. However, when using Firefox on another laptop I am able to d a search for a reservation on these sites. This leads me to believe a setting on this specific machine has been changed and I do not know how to correct the situation.

Access to the above sites works without any issues on Chrome or Edge.

The site is ok when I open on another window and even on Google which I don't like.

I cannot get the bookmarks toolbar to show "Other Bookmarks" on the right end of the toolbar. When I right click on the toolbar, the option to "Show Other Bookmarks" is greyed out.

I completely uninstalled Firefox, deleting all residual files and registry keys, then reinstalled the software, and it hasn't fixed my issue.

I cannot find any support forums or articles that have provided a solution.
