I was using Firefox 65 until one day it stopped syncing tabs. Then I upgraded to Firefox 79 and it still doesn't sync, although I can see the computer login record at “accounts.firefox.com/settings#profile”. Which version is the oldest version of Firefox Desktop supporting Firefox Sync now?

I was wondering if anyone knew of any other methods of recovering lost tabs after Firefox lost them all?

I've recovered the JSON file within the session file of FF which once scourged shows all the URLs and registers they are all there - however every method to try and get Firefox to load from this JSON has refused to work.

Any methods or advice would be appreciated greatly.

I used the "synchronized tabs" feature in the firefox sidebar to open all the tabs that were on my phone on my desktop, they were in total 1193 and this was said by firefox itself(yes i have a lot of tabs open, i moved them to desktop to sort them). Now when they finished loading i noticed a few failed to load, and remain about:blank even though i knew i didnt have any such tabs on my phone, to fix these few tabs i was planning to get a list of urls of all the tabs i opened and a list of those that were on my phone and compare them with a tool online. I got the list of tabs on my desktop through an addon, i checked the number of lines and it matched that that i got from the "syncronized tabs" feature. I got the list of tabs on my android by using the "share all tabs" feature available when you click the three dots on the top right when opening the tabs screen. Once i sent that last list to my desktop i was perplexed, the number of tabs was significantly higher, 1228 to be exact. And when i compared the lists with my online tool the results were even stranger, both lists were missing tabs from the other list, hundreds of them in fact, how is this possible? how do i even know that i got all my tabs if so many are missing from both of these features? I am a senior (87) male and not too tech savvy. A friend has weaned me off of Google Chrome default browser onto Firefox. I need to know how to sync contacts, passwords and bookmarks between each device. Thank you in advance for any "simple" help.

Hi! One of my Firefox profiles is listed as "in use," but it's not -- I can't force close or reopen it. (This is all on my Mac laptop.) I tried to create a second profile and sync that frozen profile's bookmarks and history over, but that didn't work. I've restarted my main Firefox browser several times now, and it keeps giving me the same message. This all seemed to start after Firefox unexpectedly quit sometime overnight, so I'm not sure if a software update that forced Firefox to quit maybe caused this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, Recently I reinstall OS on my laptop. Then I installed Mozilla (as always) and log-in to my account. However I can't restore my previous settings, history, favorite tabs etc. Is it possible to restore it? How I can do it?

The sync function like sh!t.

I install with apt-get, download source, or install using snap,

When I logged my account. click sync, data does not sync.

Waste my time a day to find the resolution.

I have a situation where I constantly have to send tabs from mobile Firefox to desktop Firefox. So I use Send tab to device feature. But when sending, manually clicking on the Synchronise now button in the Account menu of the toolbar of the receiving device is often needed, or else it would take a while for the tabs to be received. But I find that annoying and unintuitive.

Is there a solution for it? For instance, syncing Firefox devices more often, maybe just for the sending tabs feature because sync-now also syncs history, and bookmarks.

Had to restart my computer because it froze, but when i open firefox all my tabs are suddenly gone, this has never happened before and i do force restart my pc plenty of times.

the "restore previous session" button doesnt even show up in my menu; my about:profile page doesnt show or open my previous activity; and all my files in the sessionstore-backups folder are way too small and recent to be holding my old tabs ( i had over 300 open)

What can i do?

Recent Firefox update forced me to uninstall/reinstall Firefox. Now I've lost all my OneTab links. Hundreds of them. I don't see any options for getting them back. Any ideas?
