When I frequently turn off my computer using the system unit's power button, meaning a quick shutdown, after several such shutdowns, when I launch the browser, I'm prompted to log in again. Bookmarks that weren't synced disappear. And I'm also logged out of all the websites I was logged into, forcing me to log in again. Cachyos Linux.

Press continue, the pop-up still appear and the sign-in was false positive.

Hi there, I have been using the Firefox browser for many years and had saved all my login passwords to various sites on it and I never had a problem with it. But this time, after installing Windows and the Firefox browser, when I logged into my account and turned on the sync, it did not bring any of my previous information. When I go to my account management page, it writes my membership date at the bottom of the page as of today (2026), while as I mentioned, I have had an account on the Firefox browser for many years. How is it possible that my previous information does not exist and it recognizes me as a new user and what is the solution?!

I purchased a new Apple laptop, a MacBook Neo, & need to import bookmarks from my old MacBookAir to the Neo. No success thus far after going to Mozilla article "Sync bookmarks...." & following those instructions.

this is my back-up laptop, which until recently synced perfectly with the main one. now all bookmarks are missing, and I cannot understand what is happening the background.

In the previous version, whenever I clicked sync, my browsing history was updated automatically. Why is this no longer working after the recent update?

I always use Firefox on my 2 devices (PC & laptop) and keep them synced. However, after the latest Firefox update, the sync feature stopped working. My Firefox history from the past two days/yesterday on my PC has not been synced or imported to my laptop

I moved bookmarks from old mac to new mac so I can visit all my websites. However no user names and passwords load on the new mac. I hit sync over and over and nothing happens. Thx in advance for your help.

I discovered that my android application was no more synced. I follow the procedure until Firefox must normally send me a code to my email address. The address indicated is correct but i never get this code. I try this 2 or 3 times before contacting you. Could you help me and verify if this process is well working ?

Today, 17Sept2026 I want to synchronize my bookmarks, extension and profile data to a new Laptop. From Profiles I see more than one default backup. Says Sync not working for my version of Firefox for one help page, but Syc is ON from Account and Syc. Everything went automatically on old Laptop. Give procedure or page to do this on new machine. From this PC I see multiple "Default" profiles. Which to use? Or does this happen automatically if both machines are on? The latest is Today, updating every few seconds

I have been facing an issue that I want to completely delete all of the bookmarks associated with Mozilla Firefox. Manually deleting them works temporarily, however, they return to the bookmarks bar upon reinstalling Firefox and logging on to my account

I have already tried deleting my Mozilla account completely and used RevoUninstaller to delete all and any Firefox files from my system (done this to one of my computers). Still, the bookmarks return when I reinstall Firefox and log in to my account. I have also tried not syncing with other browsers, and the bookmarks still return when I log in to the Firefox account.

This persistence is annoying, because I really would like my bookmarks data from Firefox to be completely wiped out, but it seems that they are returning even upon account deletion (I created a new account using the same old e-mail).

Could someone please help me with this issue?

Firefox deleted my entire browsing history while signed in with syncing on, with no user interaction. This should never happen. What is the point of Firefox sync if it does this?
