I download Firefox 60. Download ADMX, but I can't found options similar trusted.uris how from about:config. I found only: Authentication_SPNEGO, Authentication_Delegated, Authentication_NTLM.

If I insert links of my sites LDAP authorization in these settings, then the browser, when I try to open them, will still request a login with a password If I manual add ulr to about:config -> trusted:uris - Then everything is successfully authorized

We have an issue since the update our version to 60.2.1 esr. I am not able to login to a adfs single sign on website that was working with an older version of firefox. For example 52.9.0 esr.

The error message is "SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected end of data at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data"

I also try the newest version 62. There, the issue seems to be resolved. But we are only using the esr version in our company. Did anybody facing the same issues with firefox and adfs?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Frank

Hello Everyone,

I'd like to deploy Firefox ESR 60.6.1 in my company (4000 computers) with PowerShell / SCMM package, but i'm having trouble to set a default software for .ica (citrix) extension . I'd like to auto check automaticaly the box (Remember my choice for "xxx", please see the screenshot, sorry for french btw) in order to make it easier for the users.

I know this parameter is written in handlers.json, but I was wondering if it can be set in the mozilla.cfg.

Thank you very much for your help.

In FIrefox ESR 52.7.3 the page used to have blue loading wheel in a tab when it was processing requests. In Firefox Quantum 60.8.0 the feature is missing and users rapidly click buttons because they are unsure if they actually clicked on a button (there is no loading indicator in the tab). Is there a way how to re-enable tab loading indicator?

I am atacching an image describing my issue.

Thanks in advance for any response.

In my searching, almost everthying I've found related to managing Firefox is from a manual user perspective. Most of our users are not very computer literate to begin with. They are of sort who refer to the browser as "Google" or "MSN", whichever default search engine they have grown accustomed to, learn just enough to get their job done. That leaves it to IT to preserve their settings.

Firefox is writing a majority the user profile information to appdata\roaming. Windows is preventing appdata\roaming from being redirected. This means whenever IT needs to rebuild the desktops, all the users that prefer Firefox as a browser lose their setup. As of yet, we have no specific policy for users creating a Mozilla account to backup their profile to the cloud, but that is a manual process for the users to implement.

During the last recomopose, users were dismayed they lost their Firefox settings, especially their bookmarks. The auto export of bookmarks is useless , as it writes its files to appdata\roaming and I can find no setting to redirect that. Being impossible to redirect, appdata\Roaming is destroyed every time a virtual desktop is recomposed.

IT is currently exploring removing Firefox from the next recompose image, because we cannot find a way to support it internally. I am wondering if anyone else out there has Firefox in a VDI environment, and what do you do to preserve the profiles during remaking the desktops?

We have Firefox in an enterprise environment. We have Firefox configured to read from the Root Store in IE. There is one internal site that apparently Firefox cannot, or does not, receive SSL certificate information. When trying to load the site, we receive a Secure Connection Failed error message. There is no option to manually enter an exception. When clicking the information icon next to the URL, there is no certificate information displayed. Internet Explorer is able to open the website without issue. There is no error message anywhere. Is there anywhere I can look to see what is going on? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Due to our company security rules we tend to disallow all extensions/plugings. But it should be possible for users to install by there own some specific -from our Security departement approved- extensions.

With other words: Blacklist=* Whitelist=xxxx, yyyy, zzzz, and so on

We install FF "naked" and configure it via GPO. The above mentioned requirement should also be handled via GPO

Many thanks Karl

Hello Guys,

I hope that you can help me. I work for a company with 900+ Windows Clients and several Terminal Server users. At the moment I deployed Firefox ESR 68.4.2 32-Bit. Yes 32-Bit, my mistake. Anyway, I want to update to version ESR 68.5.0. At the same time, I want to jump onto the 64-Bit version. This article mentioned no problem at all; install 64-Bit and afterwards uninstall the 32-Bit version of Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/switch-32-bit-64-bit

I did this step for step but I can't see the bookmarks on the 64-Bit version. If I uninstall and reinstall the 32-Bit Version the bookmarks are back. I need help, please. The users are going to kill me, if I "delete" their bookmarks.

Greetings and thank you in advance!

Why does FF reset the homepage to firefox home with the latest update? We deploy our Windows based systems to hundreds of customers and count on FF to bring them to our company homepage to check for updates, documentation, etc. How can I make sure my customers systems always start on my homepage? P.S. We have hundreds of customers so going to each system is not really feasible.
