I did an Upgrade to a version of Firefox that would bypass those "Your Browser Is Not Supported" messages that apparently come from "Cloud-flare." I figured [naievely!] that my addons would "port" to the upgrade. They didn't. Is there any way [e.g., a putative backup file, perhaps] that would allow this?

I have several users who are migrating email from Outlook, and they want me to confirm if the Thunderbird export will bring over:

• drafts
• sent mail
• deleted mail
• any subfolders in the mailbox

Hi, I am running Thunderbird v. 115.9.0 on Windows 10 on my desktop. I have been forced by Rogers in Canada to migrate my internet service from their legacy internet service to Rogers Ignite with its Ignite (Comcast) gateway. My email accounts were supposed to be migrated automatically, but, for reasons unknown, were not, and a tech support representative had to migrate them from the old legacy service to Ignite. After that was done, I opened Thunderbird, and was asked to authenticate my 2 Rogers/Yahoo email accounts, one of which is my primary account, the other a secondary account. I was asked to authenticate the secondary account first, which went well. I then clicked on my primary account in the left-hand pane and was again asked to authenticate, but the dialogue box showed it was for the secondary account. Thinking that this secondary account authentication was just being repeated for no particular reason, and not thinking that the email address in the authentication request box could be changed, I clicked Agree. My primary account is now showing the exact same emails as are listed in the secondary account, and I'm extremely concerned that I will not be able to recover all of the thousands of emails in my primary account, many of which are business-related. When I log into my primary account on the Rogers/Yahoo mail website, the emails in the primary account are still showing, so I know they are still on the Rogers IMAP server. However, I really want to continue to use my primary account on Thunderbird. I'm not sure if I should delete the primary account and recreate it - the Rogers support tech said that deleting the account may result in an issue where my current password for a re-created primary account may not be recognized, so I'm leaving things as they are until I hear back. It the advice is to not delete and recreate the account, what steps can I take to recover the emails on my primary account in Thunderbird. Due to repeated issues over a week, I uninstalled Firefox days ago. Tried to Reinstall it repeatedly on same device several times. It was working before..BUT it keeps showing its downloaded on Settings but Firefox download page keeps showing "DOWNLOAD" Tried several times. Not my computer. Nothing works to resolve it.. Windows 11..

When I click on install Firefox 124.0.2 the following window pops up stating; Sorry, Firefox can't be installed. This version of Firefox requires Microsoft Windows 10 or newer. Please click the OK button for additional information.

Which opens up a new window giving me the following installation requirements.

Firefox System Requirements Firefox 124.0.2 Windows Operating Systems (32-bit and 64-bit)

   Windows 10 or later

Recommended Hardware

   1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster compatible processor or System on a Chip (SoC)
   1GB of RAM / 2GB of RAM for the 64-bit version
   500MB of hard drive space

As previously noted, my windows operating system and hardware meet the Firefox System Requirements.

Please let me know what needs to be done to install Firefox 124.0.2

Hello. My email hosting service, UK2.net, has changed it's servers. I've tried entering the new log in information to retrieve my emails according to the new IMAP details. I can't make the connection work. The mail servers don't seem to be recognised. I've included a screenshot of the connection page. Can anyone help? Paul.

This appears to be an ideal resource for e-mail handling. It’s free, (open source?), private, secure, feature rich, streamlined, and (of course) it’s Mozilla. I would like to utilize this with my website and to eventually roll out the app version to my team. I’m hoping to define rules to automate moving e-mails to specific folders and to automate flagging/painting specific e-mails, notes, tasks, and calendar events. I suppose that it’s always easier to ask for things/stuff, but I hope that all of this makes enough sense to you that you were already working on plans for such a development/project. Perhaps GitHub’s resources could ease the burden. Who knows, perhaps you will add appointment setting and VoIP hosting to your software offerings. (I have been looking for a feasible (freesible), private, and secure way to implement such resources in my website. Also, I sincerely hope that Mozilla will partner with BlackBerry to do more big things.

I utilize Bluehost, Concrete CMS, osTicket, Elkarte, Church CMS, and PrestaShop. I am also playing around with Gibbon and RosarioSIS (and trying to survey) to see what will best suit our tutoring, training, and growing plans for academic development.

Hi, I am a new TB user, and love it so far :) However, I am on Fedora (new to that too) and installed it via the Fedora repository rather than Flathub. You don't need to know that though, the upshot is...

I need to uninstall TB, and then install it again immediately (from another source). I spent WEEKS getting help from a coder who wrote me a python script and all sorts of headaches to get my massive 20 year email archive converted from mac into TB. So I have tons of nested local folders, and all settings set up nicely. I am scared of losing stuff, account details, settings, worst of all local folders and the emails contained in them.

Please can someone advise me how best to go about uninstalling it and reinstalling it while leaving my entire profile, emails, settings, accounts intact. Is that possible? Thanks

I have suffered a total hard drive crash. Fortunately, I had a complete disk image saved to iDrive. After many hours, I was able to find my profile in the appdata and watch yesterday as my 10000+emails (approximately 10 years of emails!) streamed into my new PC from my Comcast/Xfinity account. However, when I went to access my TB account this morning only a small percentage of the emails that downloaded yesterday were accessible. My TB email account is essentially the file drawer of my life. I want and need to be able to access all 10000+ on a daily basis. What did I do wrong? How can I fix this. Thank you so much!

This has been a headache. Cox has had us migrate our accounts to yahoo. I have been able to do most of my emails, but my husband had yahoo tech help him and one of his emails will not download to the thunderbird account. The tech did a pop.mail.yahoo with this one but created new imap accounts with the other two. I tried to create a new account but it says Incoming server aleady exists. So I deleted the account, shut down Thunderbird and brought it up and tried again. I got the same message.

I am new extremely tech savvy but know a little more than my husband. If someone could please help walk me through this, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I have copied the folders in the old Thunderbird profile to the new profile which was set up when I switched to a new SSD. The Local Folders all appear, but the contacts (address book) did not. The largest file (over 400,000 kb) is global-messages-db.sqlite. I have an abook.mab.bak file but no abook.mab file. Similarly I have a history.mab.bak file, but no history.mab file. These bak files are small. Trying to import an address book from the global-messages-db.sqlite in the Profile failed "unexpectedly". Help, please.

• • • After messing with it for about 8 hours I got it resolved*** I'm moving thunderbird to a new computer. So far I've created a new profile on a the new computer's G: drive and the program is also installed in a different folder on the G: Drive. (I'm planning to have two copies of Thunderbird on the computer). The other copy for different mailboxes will be on the C: Drive. I copied the profile from the old computer to the new computer's G: Drive in a separate location. When I open Thunderbird it lists all my email accounts in the moved profile but when I go into the inboxes they are all blank. I noticed if I left click on the inbox and go to properties it's showing the inbox location as the F: drive (which is where it was on the old computer) for example mailbox:///F:/Thunderbird/Profiles/......... I don't see a way to edit the inbox location. How can I change that so it's looking for the mailboxes on the G: Drive instead of the F: Drive? The path is also a little different between the two computers. The old computer was: F:/Thunderbird/Profiles/........ and the new computer is G:/Thunderbird Data/Profiles/.........

Also I don't know if this makes any difference...On the old computer a 32 bit version of Thunderbird was running even though it is a 64 bit computer. The new computer is running the 64 bit version. They are both updated to the latest Thunderbird release.

After installing Thunderbird i had first download problems for new Firefox Versions. I tested around, installed everything new and found the solution. Somehow the Maintenance Service didn`t work properly on my machine and after deinstalling and restarting i can update firefox again. Problem remains: When trying to install Offline Languages , see picture, i get the message that it does not work. I tried everything possible, including reinstalling and deleting all old profiles (was a lot of work). Any ideas?

Two issues here I cannot update FF to latest version get the "failed to update" in the about section. Near as I can tell I think the problem is related to Nord VPN threat scanner? It is the last extension I installed, soo..

Oh and Windows 11 Pro X64 bit latest and greatest updates.

Also when downloading a new version there are variations in the downloaded file content. Never the same download twice different SHa and what not.

Also why does Mozilla not include an entire version with the download instead of the current method of downloading an installer, and then finally install with the FF downloader file?

I cannot get K9 to accept that I do not have a password verification for my e mail account.When K9 automatically configures my account IMAP and outgoing server it asks for password which I don't have

I'm giving up trying to add the mobile app to Android. No one offered any solution and only asks the same questions that I've addressed myself, so I'm done and will just use Chrome and Yahoo..

I started using firefox actively a year back or something like that, last couple of months it started driving me nuts as it started updating every time I launch it, which is very annoying even if it takes only 10 15 seconds, I sometimes need to check something really quick and I have to wait for it to finish installing an update, even though I checked the setting for it to do so in the background, it seems to only do it after I launch it disrupting my workflow, which made me switch back to Chrome temporarily, is there a way to fix this?
