I have 3 computers (2 desktops, 1 laptop). I want to permanently delete approx 300 unused/unneeded passwords. I deleted them from computer #1, then logged out of Firefox. The new count was 346 passwords.

I went to the second computer, deleted approx the same number from computer #2. The new count was 324 passwords I returned to computer # 1 and logged back into Firefox.

Within a short time, computer #1 is at 759 passwords, and computer 2 is at 691 passwords.

How do I get the deletions to be permanent? It's the second pass at doing this and I'm FRUSTRATED.

I sync Firefox between my desktop and Android. After I set up the syncing, I updated the login credentials for all of the websites I visit. I did this through my desktop. When I check my saved passwords on my Android, it shows all of the updated credentials. However, it also shows credentials that I had deleted. I do not show the outdated credentials on my desktop.

I tried uninstalling Firefox on my Android, restarting the device, then reinstalling it, but the problem persists. I could go through the credentials one-by-one, but that's literally hundreds of credentials to sort through, which would take a long time.

Any idea what's wrong and how to fix it?

I did an hardreset to my computer yesterday, today I logged in to my FireFox account and now all of my stuff (History, Passwords, Bookmarks) are from 2020. I don't have any backup, what do I do?

I logged into my account on my mobile browser, and was able to see all my passwords and saved data that I had on my computer. I ended up signing by accident and when I logged back in all my passwords and bookmarks where gone. How can I restore them??

Many questions and answers I see regarding the sync function. I would like to know the depth of what Firefox does. I have multiple PC's and an Android. What is the depth of sync for extensions? Is it possible to have mirror images of the entire Firefox setup duplicated? It would be spectacular to move from one PC to the other and find that Firefox has the exact same setup.

My passwords do not sync from windows. I have verified they are both connected but my ios never has my desktop passwords. I have verified connected the setting is checked to copy passwords i have hit the sync shile sitting at my desktop but the passwords never are on my phone.

Help me synch all passwords from Firefox on my MS Surface Pro to my new iphone 15promax. It was synching just fine with my iphone 13 but with new phone I am lost. I have selected the option to Sync passwords but it is not working.

Hi, I did a clean install from win10 to win11, then installed firefox and logged in to my account but it havent synced anything? All my saved passwords and bookmarks are gone!?

Can someone please help me get them back! Does anyone have a solution for this?

Read something about that a backup is saved on your computer? Isnt saved to a cloud? Thats what a thought! I have done a clean install on a new drive, old drive i already wiped aswell! Doesnt have a windows.old dir or anything.

Please tell me everything isnt lost!

I have Firefox on my Windows 11 desktop computer. As of today, I cannot see my Firefox on my Android smartphone. The problem started when I saw that my computer desktop Firefox would not automatically update. When I tried to update manually, I lost my ability to use my Android Firefox. Don't know what to do next.

My computer restated itself with an update. Now Firefox and all my bookmarks and saved log in info is gone. I normally can solve this by simply logging in and syncing from my phone. Firefox will not open a log in page from any of the icons on any Firefox page. I can log in using Chrome but of course sync from there is not possible. I can log in on my phone also. The problem is either my Mac settings or the Firefox settings on that computer. I have searched FAQ etc. No clear solutions can be found.

There are three problems, all related, that are frustrating me with Firefox on Android. I have a Samsung Galaxy 24+. I am trying to get Firefox to use a local HTML file that are my bookmarks, but I am stymied at every turn:

1) when I click on the local, Galaxy, HTML file, I get the standard "Open with" pop up, but they only list: Chrome, HTML View, Android's Internet browser, and Samsung Print Services. Why doesn't Firefox show up there? This is important to me. Is Firefox failing to register its browser properly in Galaxy products?

2) The next thing I try to do is to sync bookmarks so that I can use my hundreds of bookmarks (rather than adding them into Firefox one at a time). So, I click on the famous three vertical dots and there is no "Sync" function in that menu, see attached. So I cannot import my bookmarks from my PC's bookmarks.

3) Thirdly, I try to type into the URL field what Chrome uses to access local files, which is for example: "content://media/external/file/1000005061" but Firefox android does not recognize that. When I change it to "file://media/external/file/1000005061" that does not work either.

Can you fix the three issues above? Thanks. Rick. see attached.

According to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-set-firefox-sync-firefox-android, there should be a Sync and Save Date option in Firefox Android Menu, but it's nowehere to be found.

I am using the current version of fire fox and am using the same smail on both devices.

I tried using using the QR scanner from the dialogue box in the firefox keyboard, however that only brings up a "Did you use the system camera? You must pair from within the Firefox app." display.

The option is still missing from the menu.

I've been using Firefox home content shortcuts usefully on my Windows system. I installed Ubuntu on Vmware last night and synced Firefox account in it. After that, the home content shortcuts are all changed to the default status. I think it's because that I clicked the sync now button on Ubuntu. Is there a way to roll it back? Thanks.
