Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Never mind -- I just updated to Thunderbird 91.2.1, which brought my existing meetings back and also returned the "Accept" button for new meeting invitations. Leaving this message here for now in case this update might help somebody else.


After Thunderbird was upgraded from version 78* to version 91*, two problems with Calendar appointments were immediately apparent:

  • All of my already-existing meetings in my calendar disappeared, so I'm no longer getting any notifications about them
  • Emails sent to my email address from Google Calendar no longer have buttons for Accepting new meeting invitations and adding them to my calendar.

I'm running macOS Big Sur version 11.6.

If anybody has suggestions for how to recover the meetings that were already on my calendar and how to once again show the "Accept" buttons on new meeting invitations, that would be very much appreciated.

I have spent going on 4 hours trying to sign in to Firefox. First, I was supposed to use a different account then I had to change my password but a red rectangle said something about parameters and I had to change my password again only now I cannot because when I press the blue rectangle it takes me back to the red rectangle and I can't get to where I can change passwords. I'm an Attorney doing Litigation consulting and the Dept. Of Justice wanted my work today. 6

How can i hide my display/screen resolution from websites? I use Firefox in windowed mode not with my default screen size but websites know my default resolution. This can be used to identify my pc. I dont want that for privacy reasons like tracking and adverstising. How can i prevent this? I found many threads/posts about this in various forums/websites. They are talking about Tor Browser and that websites can identify you if using full-screen mode. But as i said, im using Firefox not Tor and while im using windowed-mode websites still know my default resoltion. I tested this on https://whoer.net/

Another question, how can i restore the default window size in Firefox?

I downloaded newest version of Firefox and didn't realize it would work on my computer (IMac) OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. I read that version 78 is the most current one that will work. How do I download that?
