I have vertical tabs enabled and I'm trying to access the tab overview menu to close duplicate tabs. Unfortunately I can't find this menu anymore. If I disable vertical tabs, I can see the icon in the top right. How do

In my Firefox Developer install the new tab groups feature seems to now be working like one would expect, but my main Firefox install (Firefox desktop 138.0 (64-bit)) has some issues.

I can add tab groups, add tabs to groups, but left mouse clicking the colored tab header does NOT close the tab group, like it does in Developer browser. Mode of tab group clearly changes, as the tab is either dark or light colored after a mouse click.

I don't remember changing any other settings lately in about:config, except setting tabs.groups feature to true, and I don't have too many extensions installed, and I also tried disabling all the extensions, but that didn't help.

This code in mozilla.cfg used to overwrite new tab, but as of latest firefox 136.0b1 no longer works. Any way to fix this? There error in Browser Console.

I would really like to move from brave, but really need tab groups before I do so.

Its marked as progressive rollout. What exactly does that mean in terms of when I can expect to get this feature?

EDIT: Nevermind. Update fixed the issue!

As of today, when I drag left or right on the screen in the browser, it tries to switch between next/previous tabs. This happens even if there's a web app I'm using that allows for click-and-drag functionality. I can't find a setting to turn this feature off.

Firefox has a feature where, if you select a tab and drag your cursor downwards while still pressing down on it, it will open that tab in a new window. Is there any way to disable this? I am frequently opening tabs in new windows when I'm just trying to view them and it drives me mad. I never use this feature intentionally- I am constantly using on accident due to quickly moving my cursor away from the tab bar to view the tab I just opened. Thank you.

When clicking on a search link in firefox for ios, it does not open a new tab, which it used to do. I prefer that, if I need to do more searches from the search query. It is an issue on both iPhone and iPad, but not on pc (Mac or Linux).

Since the last Firefox update, I've noticed an issue whenever I launch the browser. I have it set up so that I have multiple tabs open, and it's set up so that when Firefox starts up, it opens all of the previous tabs and starts me on the tab I was on when I closed the browser previously.

Now whenever I start Firefox, it opens to the last tab I was on, but said tab opens on my current homepage instead of the website that tab was on previously. I experimented by changing my homepage to "Youtube.com", picked a different open tab, closed Firefox and opened it again and sure enough, the tab was now on the Youtube page instead of what it had been previously.

Is this just a bug of the current Firefox version, or is there something in settings I can do to fix this?

On my iPad when I tap on Menu Icon > History > Trash Icon > Everything, the tabs refresh/flash and then the order of the tabs change. For example,

Old tabs: 1 2 3 4 (active tab is 2) New tabs after clearing the history: 1 3 4 2 (active tab is now 3)

Is there a way to prevent this? I’d like to keep the original order of my tabs.

I recently decided to try vertical tabs in Firefox, and can't find a way to search these tabs as I could when they were horizonal, with the downward pointing arrowhead. If this is a feature, please let me know how to add it to my sidebar, and if not, it would be great if this feature could be developed. Thanks!

Hello, I closed my browser, expecting it to save my current tabs as it usually does. When I reopened it, the tabs were gone. They were important for me, and some of them were pretty old so I can't find them in my history. I tried checking the "recently closed tabs" option, it didn't help. There was also no option to restore the previous session. Can you help me restore my lost tabs?

I used to be able to drag a tab from one window to another. Has this facility been removed? The Move option lets me move the tab to Start or New window, but not an existing window as I would like.

Hallo everybody who wants to help me, A few days ago, YouTube opened a tab in my browser without being asked. How can I stop this? It started with youtube automatically opening the installed app every day. I then uninstalled the app. Since uninstalling it, youtube opens a tab in my firefox every day, which I don't want. EVERY [removed] DAY firefox looses my tabs, historys, extensions/addons, prefferences and settings.... EVERY [removed] DAY!!! why am i wasting hours each day trying to recover basic [removed] ur piece of shit web browser clearly cant retain. even [removed] BING would be better at this point. ive tried everything at this point even down to tab managers but again without the webrowser holding extension info this too is [removed] useless. whats more annoying is it has clearly been an issue for over 8 years with a 10sec google search.... SORT YOUR [removed] OUT!!!!!!! yes im on windows, yes im up to date, yes ive tried resetting ur web browser, yes i have a [removed] folder with "old firefox data" on my descktop i cant use, yes ur web browser is a piece of [removed], yes i will be uninstalling this [removed] shortly. sadly i still remember the day firefox was king...... o how the mighty have fallen..

just lost several hundred tabs on Firefox mobile right after it updated itself. The most recent tabs show only ten of those tabs, which were all opened and closed today and aren't part of what I need to restore.

How do I get my tabs back? I've seen no 'restore previous session' option. My laptop only shows the few I have open now. What do I do to restore them?

i just want to go back to how my right click worked before i hate this container feature and would like to just reopen my closed tabs with my right click i dont want to see the container bs anymore.
