When I open Firefox, all my bookmarked sites start loading at the same time. I have unchecked, the "Startup Open previous windows and tabs" option in General Settings. I also deleted, and added Firefox again, but all sites are still loading on opening Firefox. (Chrome browser is fine.) Any ideas? Thanks!

I've been using tab grouping and it is really helpful.

But this morning when I created a new tab group called "MISC" I was unable to add any tabs to it.

1. I noticed that this new group happens to be the 11th group I've created. So I'm guessing that there may be a limit of ten groups. Am I right?

2. And now, some hours later, I see that the new MISC group does appear on my tab bar, but one of my old groups, TECH, has disappeared, but its contents seem to have been added to the MISC group.

This isn't a feature I ever needed or ever wanted. More than often, I accidentally group two or more tabs and have no idea how to ungroup them (yes, I know, there's some about:studies where I can remove stuff from grouped, BUT it's not a good mitigation). Firefox has been a great browser for decades. This new "feature" is rather disturbing than helpful. I understand some folks might need it, but please, at least provide a way to OPT OUT. Thank you!

EDIT: Nevermind. Update fixed the issue!

As of today, when I drag left or right on the screen in the browser, it tries to switch between next/previous tabs. This happens even if there's a web app I'm using that allows for click-and-drag functionality. I can't find a setting to turn this feature off.

I lost the ability to browse using multiple tabs. I have to open multiple windows because the browser automatically goes directly to the site rather than a new tab. I've used firefox for YEARS. Must I change browsers to have this feature?

I have an ultrawide screen, yet my pinned tabs only occupy 1/3rd of my screen width before you have to scroll through them. How do I make this area wide and allow more than 27 pinned tabs to be visible.

I want the browser's tab bar to display like the homepage, instead of disappearing after opening a webpage tab bar. I don't know if I can accurately express my meaning, but I will attach two pictures

In my Firefox Developer install the new tab groups feature seems to now be working like one would expect, but my main Firefox install (Firefox desktop 138.0 (64-bit)) has some issues.

I can add tab groups, add tabs to groups, but left mouse clicking the colored tab header does NOT close the tab group, like it does in Developer browser. Mode of tab group clearly changes, as the tab is either dark or light colored after a mouse click.

I don't remember changing any other settings lately in about:config, except setting tabs.groups feature to true, and I don't have too many extensions installed, and I also tried disabling all the extensions, but that didn't help.

Hi, I am using Firefox Nightly. It keeps prompting me to lock my private tabs, I accidentally clicked it and now I need password/biometrics everytime to view my private tabs. How do I disable the lock? I cannot find it in settings/private browsing.

I'm Firefox nightly starting several days ago when you hit the widget to view all open tabs. Previously the active tab had an indicator in this all tabs listing. Now the active tab. For example, the tab where you're watching a YouTube video has no visual indication that that's actually the active tab. this is on Android. When you swipe down to view a widget that displays the tab that's playing the video when you click on it, it now does not take you to the tab that was running. Essentially, the active tab viewing is fundamentally broken on Firefox nightly whereas it worked prior to about a week ago

Hallo everybody who wants to help me, A few days ago, YouTube opened a tab in my browser without being asked. How can I stop this? It started with youtube automatically opening the installed app every day. I then uninstalled the app. Since uninstalling it, youtube opens a tab in my firefox every day, which I don't want. I am using the Firefox browser version 138. However I am not able to use the Tab Groups from firefox. I cannot add any Tabs to any group as there is no option for that.

I recently updated to Firefox 138.0.1 to use the new tab groups feature, which allows grouping and labeling tabs, as outlined in Mozilla’s support article (expected for all users by May 6, 2025). However, after updating, I don’t see the tab groups option when dragging tabs or right-clicking them. Has anyone else faced this issue? Could it be due to the progressive rollout, a conflicting extension, or a setting I need to enable? I’ve tried restarting Firefox and checking the tab bar, but no luck. Previously, I was able to click on an image in a page, then it would appear below that pre-click. Then, if I wanted to view the image link, it would open that link in a new tab. Now, for some reason, when I try to click to the new location, it opens it in my existing tab, rather than a new tab. How can I fix that?

I just updated to 148.0 and now can't find a way to open a second window. I've searched for options since it's not coming up clicking the icon in my taskbar, or any other place indicated. Mac IOS

My account login details were out of date; I was automatically logged out. After re-registering, the ‘new tab’ option has disappeared from the bookmarks bar. When I tap on a bookmark, the page I was previously viewing disappears. Very, very inconvenient!

We hate this useless so-called feature and you've completely failed to give us an OFF switch! It's been many months with countless complaints and still no OFF switch! We've had this conversation before, all of your ideas must come with an OFF switch, especially so for the dumb ones like tab pinning! You don't ever force this dumb crap on us, ever!

Where is the fkin OFF switch already!?!?!?
