I've been using alt+a to open new tabs in a multi account container for a long time. Recently that shortcut stopped working possibly with the update to v148 as indicated in this reddit thread.

alt+a is not listed as a shortcut in about:keyboard or in about:addons > manage extension shortcuts or in my ubuntu shortcuts nor in any software I can think of thats running. I've disabled all add-ons except multi account containers and it still does not work. Changing the shortcut to another works fine.

Why would just that shortcut stop working? What else can I do to diagnose the problem?

its one request i want to ask, can you add WhatsApp Web Plus into Firefox plugins/addons?

or maybe the question is, how to add the extension that exists on chromium based browser to firefox based?

I did a new Windows 10 install yesterday. I then added my favourite apps.

When I got Firefox installed, adjusted the settings and added my extensions (most of which I've used for years), I found a glitch.

The icons for AdBlocker Ultimate and LastPass do not show up in the Customize Toolbar menu. I keep both of these on my toolbar in the past.

I've tried restarting Firefox several times and, finally, tried running it in Troubleshoot Mode. The last, it seems, doesn't allow the use of extension.

So ... please help!

I see duplicate menu items for addons under Tools menu for some addons like ImportExport Tools NG for example and its developer identify the issue as longstanding Thunderbird bug on Mac.

Any idea about the isse?

How can I block the google account sign in dialog box on weather.com. I can't close it or get rid of it. It permanently obscures part of the screen. I use Windows 11 and the most current version of Firefox. This problem began within the last few months.

I did reach out to GitHub. They referred me to contact the Video downloader support team, which is not part of their development.

Back to my original question posted here once again Recently, the video downloader helper stopped working with videos of YouTube links. The video downloader helper on the Firefox window is grey, meaning inactive. I tried using a video from a LinkedIn web page and was able to download it. Any suggestion? I installed the 4 choice AI system and used it once and was impressed. At that very same site I wanted to highlite copy and paste but when I did the highlight was so faint as to be almost invisable . After some attempts and not wanting to lose that feature I deleted the AI via mouse right click. Realizing that was not the problem I have searched several times but cannot get any further thru settings and more tools to try to Reinstall that feature . Also the sparkle button never showed with the fisrt install. It originally appeared of its own accord . Will I get the choice again when I reboot .. ? hope you can help me thanks mike

During recent update 148.0 (64-bit) google calendars are not shown either in "Events and Tasks/Calendar" or in "Today's Pane".

Subscribed calendars are still there, but nothing is shown in the days/weeks/months entries apart from the first calendar in the subscription list! Nothing else. And nothing in today's pane.

Reinstalled Thunderbird and reinstalled "Provider for google calendar" but nothing changed.

Hi, I am working on an extension which fetches my google calendar events and shows them nicely as graphs and summarizes the events. I need a CLIENT_ID in for getting an access token from google (OAuth2). I got one from my google cloud console but I don't think I should push that to the add-ons site.

I am quite new to this javascript/browser world and don't know where to go from here. It would be great if people can just download my add-on and just use it without providing a client ID and zipping it themselves. I asked this question on stack overflow and they marked it as off-topic :_).

So far I couldn't find any information related to this on the web.

How to edit shortcut keys for the extension- Read Aloud: A Text to Speech Voice Reader ?

When trying to assign a new shortcut of my choice, it gets deleted automatically.

I was able to do so in Chrome and Edge browsers.

Please help me to assign the same shortcut keys in Firefox also..

Hello, Mozilla. I really appreciate the way you think about internet access. What you stated about the app is truly reflected within it: fast connections, accurate results, and most importantly, the security. However, when it comes to advertisements, I was really expecting that whenever I watch YouTube contents, there will be no ads shown. To my surprise, ads are still there. I provided a snapshot of my desktop to give a proof about this. Is there somehow a way to get rid of them, like perhaps an extension to block ads? If there's none, that's fine as well. Thank you and high praise to the developers of this browser.

Hi, I am using Firefox to open my different mail boxes from : yahoo.fr or orange.fr or laposte.net. Usually everything are going OK and I can read the attached files except the one sent by my friend from England. Sorry for my English but you may have understood I am french (nobody is perfect). Well, I am using windows 11, he is using windows 11 ; I am using Firefox but he is using mainly Microsoft Outlook. All his attachment are coded as winmail.dat and I can't open them. If I use Microsoft Edge it's not much better. When he uses Chrome and Gmail it's perfect and I can open his attachment with Firefox. He is a computer man, programmer, and his Outlook seems to be correctly set and he doesn't understand the problem or what's happening. I am not the only one in that case. It seems it's an Outlook setting specific problem according to Microsoft. Clearly, I don't want to give up with Firefox. Does it exist an add-on or extension for Firefox which could solve this difficulty ? or a decoder add-on ? It seems there is at least one for Thunderbird but 6 yo... Would it run under Firefox even it's specific ? For fun I should try Firefox with Linux just to see if Linux is better at decoding winmail.dat attachments. Thanks for any help, setting or specific add-on you can provide me. Richard.

"Adblock" cannot be found in the PROGRAMS listed on my PC, so no way to "uninstall" your uninvited, unwelcome, unneeded bit of buy-this-buy-this-buy-this angling. 3.
