Thunderbird app on Android suddenly stopped moving emails; instead just repopulated inbox. Uninstalled and reinstalled app; added email account and proper password. TB locked into "Checking incoming server settings" loop. Comcast properly set up; accessible from browser. Tried entering settings manually; same result. Cleared cache and data; same result.

Before the problem started, there was normally an instructions box visible on the screen when in Thunderbird. This box included instructions such as open, close, delete etc files. Now that box (at least I recall it as a box) does not appear. Now, eg, to delete a file I must right click on the file and hit the "waste" bin.
I would have added a screenshot of one of my in boxes but I cannot get the screenshot key (Prt Sc) to work. What it would show, if I was able to print it, is an inbox screen without any instructions box.

Today as I got to work (Windows 11 machine), I had a suspicious Firefox.exe file on my Desktop, it was not a shortcut, but exe file. I did a little investigation and research, and I noticed some difference from Program Files exe file and Firefox.exe on my Desktop:

I scanned both files in VirusTotal, and they both seems clean and legit

Can somebody assure me that both files are OK, and can somebody explain to me why Firefox.exe appeared on my Desktop, and why is there difference between two files in size, Copyright info, and original filename ?

This is not the case with DOCXs and JPEGs.

I am reaching out regarding an ongoing issue with the NordPass extension on Firefox. For over a month, I have been encountering a source map error when attempting to log in using the Windows Hello PIN code.
The specific error message is as follows: Source map error: Error: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource. Resource URL: moz-extension://23234j35k5j439434932u2j32l/css/biometrics.css Source Map URL: biometrics.css.map
I have already contacted NordPass support, but unfortunately, I have not received a resolution. I am hoping that your team can investigate and address this issue.

Most local folders are missing from Folder Pane view
Have a bunch of local folders that i use for archiving stuff which normally sit under Local Folders in the folder pane, but they have disappeared from view :-( If I search for an email that i know is in one of the local folders then it does appear to find the email, but when i click on it, it does not show any detail for the message. The local mail archives still seem to exist on my hard drive - see image 1 & 2. The TB folder view is image 3. Contents of profile/Mail folder shown in image 4 (some of missing Local folder are in the tree but not all!)
Yesterday, I enabled the Microsoft OneDrive protect documents feature, not sure if this is related to issue as cant be sure when Local folders disappeared (sometime in the last week though!).

I want to know if it is possible to use multiple instances of Thunderbird (different versions!) on the same computer. The add-in "Attachment extractor" does not work beyond version 52.9.1 and it is so handy that it justifies the use of an older version of Thunderbird. However, I only need it once per month (each month!), because of invoices (yes, I work in accounting). Any suggestions would be appreciated. An update of the add-in would be more appreciated, even when payment is needed. PLEAAASE!
