I believe since your last update, every time my phone switches a data provider, meaning goes from cellular data to my Wi-Fi or vice versa. Or if you go to airplane mode and then come out of it I get the Gmail authentication error. Every single time. I'm running Samsung Galaxy s23 running the latest version of Android 16. Has anyone else had this issue? I find it hard to believe that I would be the only one. It's getting really annoying having to keep clearing it or going in and then when you go into go through the settings it tells you it doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Since the last update (I am running K-9 Mail v17.0 on a Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 with Android 14 Build Number U1TGNS34.42-86-4-5-4-8), I am often getting a separate notification for every new email in my In Box (POP3) instead of one notification to say that I have a bunch of new messages, and the notification(s) is(are) not going away after I look at my message(s) and delete the email(s).

Any idea if this is a bug or a feature? It is annoying to delete 10 emails and then have to delete 10 notifications about the same 10 emails.

What's happening is "random" emails go into the outbox and stay there, I have no choice but to delete them.

There is no rhyme or reason for this.

The majority of emails send, even to the address that will randomly stay in outbox. !!

I have deleted the account and reinstalled it, used the same settings that are on another account that I don't have a problem with.

I am using android on galaxy tablet.

Anyone have any ideas

I'm running Thunderbird at the desktop on various Linux and Windows boxes. These instances, along with other interfaces like RoundCube and the like can use my IMAP server to access all the folders in any given email account, move mails between them, add/remove/edit folders etc.

Thunderbird for Android can't even see them, not even the standard sent/trash/etc. options - only .INBOX. I have all the folders in my subscriptions file but nothing shows when I query the folder list from the client ("Manage Folders") and in any case I have unchecked "only list subscribed folders" in the settings for my account.

Any idea what I need to do to get at folders in this instance, because this setup is rendering the client semi-useless for me?

I am experiencing a delay in Push emails compared to my Outlook app. I am committed to get emails as soon as they are received by the server. For example I've observed recent emails 10min later in Thunderburd than Outlook to my Inbox.

I have my Inbox set to "Enable Push". Is there anything I can do to improve the speed of delivery vs Outlook? Both apps have same settings for Background data, and 'Allow background app usage'.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I like Thunderbird with it's neat and clean user interface. But even with 0 subject lines ans compact settings I only see 8 emails per screen on my 10" tablet.

Is there another setting that I have missed which would give me at least 20 emails per screen?

Also search is incredibly slow (one result every 1-3 seconds). Is that only because I just recently installed it?

Llevo días intentando añadir una cuenta de outlook a la aplicación del móvil (en el ordenador, tras varios intentos, sí lo he conseguido).

Se trata de una cuenta personal y aunque ya he habilitado IMAP, no me da la opción de habilitar SMTP, que es lo que me está fallando.

El error que aparece es:

"El servidor devolvió el siguiente mensaje: Authentication unsucessful, SmtpClientAuthentication is disabled for the mailbox."

He probado también a cambiar el servidor por smtp.office365.com, pero tampoco lo consigo de esta forma. ¡Ah! y está con Oauth2 también.

Me tiene un poco desesperada el tema, así que toda ayuda es bienvenida.
