I am using internet server provider www. namespro.ca server settings for my email account set up with Thunderbird mail and the email account will not set up properly. I currently have (1) domain name "realestateX.com with www. namespro.ca and I am attempting to set the email accounts using Thunderbird Mail on a desktop CPU. The email accounts will NOT set up with ThunderBird Mail with this domain name, 'realestatex.com.' On the other hand, the same domain name email account were succcesfully set up on OUTLOOK using the same www. namespro.ca server settings with success, they work properly in and out

Back to the Desktop CPU and my Thunderbird Mail program; I have another email account set in with another domain email account realestatex.net with a completely different internet server provider www. webnames.ca and that email works fine in and out and the set up without an issue

Back to namespro.ca their server settings work fine with MS 365 OUTLOOK email set up on my DELL laptop. However the server setting from namespro.ca will not work on the desktop and laptop, The laptop set up is using a MOZILLA Thunderbird Account Hub and stated their is an "authentication error because of a policy violation relating to the refused connection from the IP" . Would namepro.ca IP connection refusing my thunderbird mail account to syne with namespro.ca? any insight would be helpful, appreciate your time

Whenever I create an event in the calendar, Thunderbird creates it in the "Task calendar" and I want it in my other, email named calendar. Can this behavior be changed? It's so frustrating because I have to edit the event and all the attendees get a second notice. Thank you

Thunderbird 147.0 (64-bit) OS: Linux; Fedora 43 Settings:

• smtp.gmail.com
• port 465
• SSL/TLS
• OAuth2
• full email address

This situation started happening about a week ago. I created a new user and had no problem sending email from the same default account. I can also connect to smtp.gmail.com using telnet, port 465. Something is presumably corrupted. I have had this account for many, many years, so I have accumulated many filters and other data.

I use folder icon colors for various purposes. I prefer my color selection "menu" to look like the first included image, after I define and Add to Custom Colors.

After a restart of TB, my custom color choices go away. I believe the color choices should survive and be permanent until changed by the user. Please advise, thank you.

When opening Thunderbird on Wayland with Nvidia drivers it breaks other apps. Specifically Spectacle, KDEs screenshot tool. I am here to help supply any logs or error reports to help fix this.

if I enter an appointment in my Google-calendar in Thunderbird, it is visible in Google but not in Thunderbird. The problem appeared a few days ago. Newest update is installed.

Where is the catch?

Using latest thunderbird on desktop, if I create account, thunderbird pops up a window but the window greys out and never gives me a way to input password. There’s a url at the top but it never goes

I am trying to enter my Thunderbird account to review my emails, however, everytime I click on the Thunder bird icon nothing happens. Please help me to regain my ability to open Thunderbird. I am falling wat behind in my work.

Sending an email slowed right down, so I saved it and tried to open it from the Drafts folder, a local folder. Drafts was agonizingly slow to open a draft. (I tried this several times to send a particular email.) I clicked the Repair Folder button for Drafts. Then I clicked the Repair Folder for my local Sent folder. Bad move. Suddenly Thunderbird started resending all the emails in my Sent folder. Starting in 2020.

I had to disable my internet connection, then change my Sent Folder back to a server folder and disable my SMTP settings for the moment. Ouch!

Thunderbird doesn't seem to work well with local folders any more.

I received an email on 02/25/2026 that was a egift card from a local small business. The egift card was from with Square account. When I went back into my inbox the next day to use the egift card, the email was gone. I looked in all my folders and didn't see it anywhere. How can an email just disappear? When I contacted the small business, they said they can't honor the egift card without the 16 digit # on the egift card. I showed them the receipt for the purchase but it doesn't not show the 16 digit code for the ecard, only shows the purchase of a gift card. So how do I find this email with the egift card?

I don't recall the actual email address the egift card was from other than I saw it was from a Square account.

I frequently get messages that are all messed up due to fonts. Lines overlap, symbols instead of characters, etc. Is there some way to have Thunderbird use some other substitute font than this? Thunderbird 140.8.0esr (64-bit) on Linux Mint Cinnamon

Hi there! After transferring Thunderbird from my old to my new computer, the calender does not show any appointment. Even it I set a new one this is not shown. But all appointments still exist because if I search for them the are shown in a list. Is there anyone who has an idea what went wrong? Thank you for any help! Norbert from Berlin

I access Thunderbird through AOL. I have a completely separate yahoo email account which I do not access with Thunderbird. Do I need to do anything with respect to the new "authorization protocol known as OAuth2 with PKCE"?

I routinely drag and drop attachments out of an incoming email and into various desktop folders. However, in the last couple of days, it started creating multiple copies when dragging more than one attachment at a time AND doing it in multiples of the number of attachments. For example, if I drag four attachments over, it will save the original attachment and create three more and number them: ex. File.pdf (original) and File-1.pdf, File-2.pdf, File-3.pdf. Three file equals two copies, six files equals five copies, and so on. Dragging one attachment is fine and saving multiples via SAVE ALL works fine as well. It's only multiples via drag and drop. I am running the latest Thunderbird 148.0 on a Mac with Tahoe 26.3.

I've checked and double check as well has changed the outgoing settings from 465 to 587. Nothing works. Help148.0 Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail: Outgoing server (SMTP) error.
