Yeah, hi, I'd love to just transfer to a new phone. Like when you just sign into the browser, you could copy all the stuff across. It's seriously like pulling dinosaurities. First, I've got to find a live dinosaur. What's wrong? Are you guys? Why would there be a problem of adding account food 15 years or something? And then I've gone to transfer to a new phone, I've even logged on that new phone, but I can't log in on this phone that's just lridiculous like a can't explain it

I have 4 macbooks and iphone w. about 10000-19000 bookmarks. Last n. I noticed what I bookmarked on 1 machine wouldn't show on another. A pop up said "your profile has reached a limit. A device can have ony one identity..make another (sic)...." I did that, and found the bookmarks from "classic" profile, WHICH I'VE HAD ABOUT 20 YEARS, weren't imported. I uninstalled, reinstalled Firefox, managed to get the bookmarks back via a desktop folder I'd made, thank god! It didn't restore the 50 passwords, and still won't accept the previous password..which is another can of worms-it actually won't let me change my p/w w.o "you may lose your personal bookkmarks passwords etc!:" Even the 32 digit code (which I had saved) is not working...and it doesn't let you get another one unless you have a p/w!!!! Is this sounding a vicious circle....I am going to not use sync or another profile, b'c I'd rather keep my personal data (bookmarks) and rightnow, I was able to 'restore' to the original profile!!

I think Firefox won’t load because I have duck duck go on iOS. I am trying to perform the sync option offered by Firefox. I am unable to use the camera within the app for the QR code but duck duck go comes up. What should I do next?

Hello, in the last couple of days I spent a lot of time deleting old accounts stored in "passwords" in my Firefox account and making sure no vulnerable passwords were still around. I did it from my Mozilla account, on a laptop.

When I was done with it, I signed out from my account on my Android Firefox app, and deleted all the cache and the data, to remove all the old password. Unfortunately, when I looged back in my Firefox account, the old passwords were still there and synced on my laptop as well.

So, is there any way I can undo that Sync? The problem is that now not only all my cleaning pointless, but I changed the password for many accounts and the Sync override it with the old ones.

I've installed FF on new computers a few times in the past year and I've noticed that it never syncs the Search settings (things like default search engine, adding StartPage, etc.). Is that by design? Is there a way to make them sync?

Dear Mozilla,

I cannot syncronise my phone with my laptop wich would be really useful for me. Thats one of the main reasons I prefer Mozilla as my primary browser. So far I had no problem with it on my other deviceis and so I hope this can be solved.

I switched away from Google products earlier this year and while I'm never had issues with firefox in the past I am now realising the limitations. I was able to seamlessly move all my passwords from chrome to firefox. However, often when I need it most, the up-to-date firefox app on my iPhone 13 mini (iOS 18.6.2) does not seem offer all the logins I have access to on my browser, let alone autofill them. I can sync tabs, I can see all my bookmarks, so why can't I access all my passwords on the app? Everything works fine when accessing the browser on my work PC and my aging macbook.

sync between Android pad and Win desktop only works occasionally. says "last sync nn hours ago" for a long time but then syncs regularly. this used to work in earlier versions

When I choose add new device the website displays 2 choices: mobile with installed Firefox app or need to download the app.

I chosed mobile with installed app then the website return to this main page without show the QR to scan from app.

Now, I logged in using email on my Android mobile and failed to sync my web browser profile..

I had to have my laptop serviced. When it came back, I downloaded Firefox and logged into my account. Usually, all bookmarks and passwords would load back up, since they were bound to my account. Unfortunately, this time after had synchronization finished, none of my data was present. It's as if my whole account was wiped. The only thing I did was change my password. How can I restore everything?

Hello, I just completed a wipe of my whole device, beforehand I obviously signed up and synced up my Firefox account to keep my boomarks and data. After reinstalling Firefox I managed to sign in, sync up and get my bookmarks back - great. However after reopening of the app they were gone again and when checking back-ups the only available one was from after the "automatic wipe". I quickly checked my mobile Firefox app as well - it still showed a bigger of number of bookmarks so I had hoped they stayed at least there but after entering the folder they appeared empty and then gone completely after re-entering. Please if possible assist, it seems like Firefox decided to overwrite this data so maybe it's still somehow recoverable as these bookmarks have been collected over the years. Thank you in advance.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I'm recovering an older Firefox Sync Account. I can login on https://accounts.firefox.com. My password is valid. I cannot login within Firefox (activating Sync). It simply does not continue - After entering the E-Mail-Address and clicking the Button "Sign up or sign in". The browser network debug show no (obvious) communication error.

Please advise.

I was advised by ESET to change my Facebook password, which I have done on my desktop. The new password was successfully saved to Firefox Password Manager. My Android phone is SYNCed to the desktop, but Facebook on my phone refuses to accept the new password.

I have about a dozen computers synced to Firefox. The Bookmarks go nuts when an older seldom used machine powers up. I spend days cleaning out my bookmarks only to have old ones come roaring back. I have began manually backing my bookmarks up to a hard drive. Firefox has failed me. I wish to delete all, or some of the backed up bookmark files.

How do I do that!!! I've spent hours over weeks online trying to stop this madness. Can I wipe out all the files by deleting any of the three "places.sqlite files? Is there a way to selectively kill the very large files that keep coming back and keep the other recent backups?

Does someone sell a pay to play bookmark manager similar to Foxmarks / xmarks?

I use Firefox as my default browser for my PC, Mac and Android phone. Suddenly, all of my bookmarks and home screen shortcuts have disappeared... I'm guessing after an update. I'm also guessing I'm not the first person with this issue I have tried syncing multiple times as well as uninstall and reinstall... Nothing, they are all gone. They are all still there on my PC versions. Can't find any tab for bookmark backups, Can you help me get these back?

Recently, Firefox has been slow and crashes regularly. I try to sync tabs but after it crashes and I reopen it goes back to a much older save and lose tabs I've recently opened or sometime after a crash and reopen it tries to open a window with no tabs and I lose all my tabs
