I use synching between phone and desktop. I deleted some bookmarks on my phone and synced phone and desktop Firefox. I would expect that the deleted bookmarks also disappear on my desktop FF under "Mobile Bookmarks", but nothing changes. Worse than that, after I added one more bookmark on my phone and synced, the deleted bookmarks showed up again on my phone. It seems the not deleted bookmarks on desktop are transferred again to my phone. This is actually not what I want...

I have an old Firefox Mozilla account, but I can't recall the primary email associated with it. However, I do know that my current email is listed as a secondary email on that account. I would like to unlink my current email from that account. What steps should I take to do so? Thank you

I recently got a new phone and have logged into Firefox Sync. I can see all of the tabs from my old phone, but how can I open all of the tabs at once in the new phone without having to click one tab at a time? I've tried going on desktop and opening the sync account and using crtl+h to see all the tabs, but I only open the tabs that were on my phone on the desktop browser, not send the tabs to my new phone.

I cannot share a tab from my phone to my tablet or vice versa. I can send tabs to my desktop computers, and my desktop computers can send tabs to my phone, but for some reason Firefox Sync thinks that my phone and my tablet are the same device.

Curiously, when I go into my Firefox account settings and change the name of my browser on each device, as soon as I sync, the names are swapped. Specifically, I named Firefox on my phone "S23 Ultra". When I checked the settings on my tablet, it showed that that was also the name of Firefox there, too. So I changed the name of it on my tablet to "Tab S8+". As soon as I hit "Sync Now," my phone changed to "Tab S8+". And when I changed my phone back to "S23 Ultra," as soon as I synced my tablet, that became the name of my tablet browser, too.

So I have a new s23 and just sync'd it. I can send tabs from the android 14 phone (Firefox 124.0) to the Win10 laptop (Firefox 123.0.1) but I cannot send them from the laptop to the phone. I hesitate to change the laptop to v124 because of the error, as the laptop works with the other devices I have.

I've open/closed Firefox (both places), signed in and out (both places), restarted the phone and the behavior is the same.

Suggestions?

I by mistake have synced into wrong account. I believe i did have same account with same email only but my data was not there when i tried loggin in by resetting

Since attempting to sync my desktop and mobile app, I've been observing (at times beside myself with frustration) consistent failure of the password manager to have logins available at time of need. In fact, when I go to find the saved passwords manually from settings>logins & passwords>saved logins, the page comes up blank. No saved logins, no passowords, nothing at all.

When it would auto sync or I would manually hit the sync button, it would hang and take more time than I was willing to spend watching to finish. Then there would be problems with web pages not saving current progress & rolling back tens of minutes to a previously seen point, as if I had scrolled up and/or hit the back button a few times. Or tabs would disappear and their site history ghosting me, as if I had never been there before (I suspect after I've spent time on another app & Firefox falls out of the phone's memory, but I'm only tangentially informed on how phone hardware operates and I'm making a somewhat educated guess here (the most dangerous kind)).

I have found a workaround, i.e. close and restart the Firefox app. But this is an understandably annoying solution to perform every time I need to log in to a website. Besides that it isn't supposed to work this way, this solution only works for an indeterminate time before the password manager once more eats lead and fails to perform its duty and the app must be manually restarted again.

I believe I've since turned off sync, but a quick check on mobile shows it was synced 3 minutes ago (though all the boxes under "choose what to sync" are unchecked), so I'm unsure if it's really off or if it's trying to sync nothing and this is where the problem has diverged from whatever started this disaster. I don't care about syncing anymore, I just want my mobile experience to once again be effortless. As much as possible. Within reason.

Firefox for iOS always worked with autofill until a couple of days ago. I cannot for the life of me get it to work. I deleted app, reinstalled, resynced and it still doesn’t work. I can see my passwords in the passwords section under privacy but it won’t autofill. I’m wondering if the latest update broke it.

Running Firefox 122.0 on Mac OS Ventura. When I save some articles via the toolbar icon, ithey show up in my online Pocket account, but only as links, not full downloads. Same for some saves via my iOS app. Consequently I'm unable to read this content offline. Attached screenshot shows the difference. Any suggestions?

I'm responsible for updating a website bluenelson.org. A section of the home page will not display on my Mac but it does display when I use Safari. I've update all the software, rebooted and I'm out of options. Can someone help me?

I cannot seem to get sync to sync my passwords/logins to my IOS phone. I have relogged in 5 times and resynced even more times! I even logged out of all devices and logged back in. Issue has been reoccuring for past 4 months.

Hello. I am recovering data and files from an old Windows XP machine and have installed Firefox ESR browser. I can go online without problems but when trying to log into my account for Firefox Sync I get the error message " Blocked by Content Security Policy This page has a content security policy that prevents it from being loaded in this way". I would be most grateful if someone could help me with this please. Best regards Tony

I've been trying to sign in to my Firefox account so I can sync my data since last night. I reinstalled windows as I got a new platform yesterday and didn't want any driver issues. I instead was met with issues getting my primary browser to work after installing it.

I entered 2 different passwords once each and since they didn't work I clicked forgot password. Once I wrote my email in and clicked continue however despite it being the first time I clicked the button I was met with "You've tried too many times. Try again in 29 minutes". It game me that every time I waited out the time and tried again for 3 hours yesterday and it's still giving me that error today after another hour and a half on both my phone and my pc.

Hello all. I have a strange problem, sorry for the length. So I have a windows pc, and 2 android devices, a cell and a tablet. Sync has not really worked well for over 3 years, and I'm trying yet one more time to fix this. I honestly don't believe it can. Each device is pretty much on its own, so I do not see all of my articles/tabs on all 3. If you were to take a look at each, the tabs are all different. I've tried everything. So let me ask this: is there a way to manually do this? I guess I'll just have to do that. I've signed in and out on both android devices, hit the sync button on all 3, looked for updates on all 3, etc. My cell didn't even show up on my pc for 3 years. I don't want to mess with that one yet {cause it's windows}, I've gone into settings, tried what the articles suggest. Nothing. Weirdly, my bookmarks are fine {thank goodness}. Please help.
