A while ago Firefox for Android started giving prompts to open links in native apps while using private mode. It really doesn't make much sense to have this feature in private mode, as this obviously defeats the purpose of private browsing. I couldn't find any option to turn this off specifically for private mode. There is an option to turn this feature off completely, but that's not what I'm looking for. How do I get rid of this?

On android whenever I'm using an app that tries to open firefox I get a pop-up asking me to choose a certificate to let the app access it. It doesn't matter what option I select because it won't be accepted, the pop-up just comes up again and again. I've attached a screenshot of what I'm seeing. I don't understand why this is happening or how to fix it, I would really appreciate any help or advice!

When I use the Commonwealth bank app on my phone not through the Firefox browser a pop up supposedly from Firefox appears. I keep hitting deny but it pops up at ever step of the transaction. I have reported it to the bank. I have a screen shot see attached. What is this?

In the past, I was able to follow Firefox's instructions to connect both my phone and laptop (scan or sign in with email). Now when I try the scan method, I get an "error" message on my laptop while the phone says I need confirmation from my other device. When I try to sign into my Firefox app on my phone using my email, I click the sign in button but it doesn't work. How do I fix this?

My account password was reset and now all my sync data is lost but I still have my old password. Is there any way to recover the data using my old password or is it lost forever?

Recently, whenever I open Firefox on my Android phone, the search box automatically gets focused and the keyboard pops up immediately. Previously, the keyboard would only appear after I tapped the search box manually. This change is disrupting my browsing experience. I would prefer the previous behavior where the keyboard only appeared on user interaction.

Please let me know if there's a way to disable this auto-focus behavior or if a setting can revert it.

I visited a website once, not even typed it out, just got redirected, and now everytime i type a certain letter, it automatically fills to that website, and it's getting annoying, i tried clearing the cache and removing every mention of it in the history and it's cookies, but nothing

I am following the instructions to delete browsing history, but it’s not working…within the Firefox app on my iphone, I hit the menu, then History, then the trash can icon. No matter what option I choose (last hour, last day, last week, last 4 week, or all time), nothing at all happens. If tried giving it time…but nothing. This has been on ongoing issue for me across iOs updates…I’m currently on iOs 18.5. I can delete individual sites in my history, but really I want to be able to delete my all time history, or really I’d take any of the bulk delete options at this point.

Trying to import some bookmarks from my PC Firefox to my wifes phone (Android Firefox). Found this on the interweb: To import bookmarks in HTML format into Firefox, follow these steps: Open Firefox and click on the menu button (three lines) at the top right corner of the browser window. Can do.

Select "Bookmarks" and then click "Manage bookmarks" at the bottom of the menu. As far as I can see, no such option menu is present. Unable to "Manage Bookmarks." How do I get around this?

In the Bookmarks Library window, click on "Import and Backup" from the toolbar and choose "Import Bookmarks from HTML..."

I updated ios 18.5 on my Apple iphone 16e and ipad 10 Pro last night. Now I cant get firefox on either of them. Evcery time I think I've opened Firefox, the Google search engine comes in instead and demands a google password. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks.
