Hello,

I have a question regarding automatic updates for Firefox.

I sometimes use a Linux live system (with pre-installed Firefox 140), and Firefox updates flawlessly through the „Help --> About Firefox“-setting.

Is the connection with the Mozilla-server encrypted (https:) during this update?

Are the updated files also checked for integrity?

I am trying to sign an email with my dsc token. Token contains Digital Signature, Non-Repudiation and E-mail Protection, Document Signing, 1.2.840.113583.1.1.5, Smartcard Login, Client Authentication key usages. Encryption is not required. Only want to sign. Able to see the the certificate in both account setting and thunderbird settings. But still when I select sign and try to send a mail, not prompting for PIN and failing with " Sending of the message failed. You specified that this message should be digitally signed, but the application either failed to find the signing certificate specified in your Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings, or the certificate has expired." error message

I understand that Firefox VPN will be out for test. However, it is not clear which countries it will be available from the article:

How is it planned?

The application Thunderbird was added to my microsoft account without my consent, and immediately a bunch of e-mail rules were set up to pass on e-mails and delete them. This led to me loosing acces to a bunch of stuff, among which are vinted, discord and humble bundle. Discord has been recovered now though. However, microsoft support was very elusive on how this happened, how specifically thunderbird recieved permission to acces my microsoft account. Could you please explain how hackers were able to abuse your application to make life hard on people?

All of our email goes through Proofpoint. It has a feature that redirects all links to their URL Defense before allowing it to continue to the original destination. However, when the link is typed out in the email, Thunderbird pops up with the message that there is a Link Mismatch Detected and it lets the user go to the actual link instead of forcing it through the Proofpoint URL Defense. I need to disable that feature or create an exception for anything that redirects to Proofpoints URL.

Today, using Firefox--or at least what i think is Firefox--i checed session history while logged into my mega.nz account. It lists 2 instances, one of which is for 3 days prior when I originally set up the Mega account using the Mega app, and the other is for yesterday when I entered the account using the FF browser--or, again, what i think is the FF browser. What's curious is that it shows i was using the Chrome browser, and that I'm apparently still using this browser as it's listed as the "Current" session. How can this be? While I have the Chrome app on my phone, I disabled it long ago and have never used it, and most certainly did not use it during the time and activities in question. I have long speculated that I have been hacked and that my phone is sometimes (always?) controlled by this hacker, though no solid proof. Assuming the hacker uses Chrome, could this be reflecting their using the Chrome browser, as opposed to the FF browser, which I'm currently using (or think im using)? In other words, is this the proof of a hack? Or is this a glitch within Mega, mistakingly listing Chrome as my browser?

I received an email threatening to cancel Firefox because of inadequate usage. Is this for real or a scam? I do use Firefox but, perhaps not enough for Mozilla's rules? I would regret losing this privilege. Thanks.

Hi! This just started today. Not a problem before but...there is some ad blocker that won't let me watch you tub videos on my computer. I've tried fumbling around in settings, privacy, ad blockers etc but not finding the magic button. Any suggesions I'm on a windows 11 pc, using firefox and Gmail suite apps

Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to divar.ir because this website requires a secure connection.

I just set up a Rakuten account which alllows me to buy things on line. Mozilla-Firefox won't let me buy through this website (i.e., the Rakuten website). How do I get Firefox to allow me to do what I want. I have no idea which version of Firefox I'm using. I'm assuming that its fairly recent.

I signed into one of my financial accounts and it said the sign in was with firefox windows 10. I have windows 11 on my computer. Is this a security issue? Fire fox says i am on the latest version

My browser later stop working telling me that they encounter an error it stop browsing but after restarting of the PC it started working. Please set and update my mozilla against such. It was talking about secure security. Please set it up for me.
