I would like to see default search engine by Container. For example I'm not logged into whatever engine (Bing for example) in the Banking container and would rather have ddg as the search engine when working in Banking.

When the above search is entered into the google search box the following url reference populates the url line but does not resolve to a the search results. Sometimes the tab gets frozen and hitting enter does nothing. Sometimes hitting enter will cause the url to resolve to the search results.

Further whenever a link is clicked in gmail it opens another tab with the following url but does not resolve to the search results and tab is frozen

Tried both above issues on Chrome and no problem. Have rebooted pc. Running Win 11

i was having a firefox file not installed in my desktop but i can open the browser it was in privet browsing by default if i close it it will restart firefox and back as normal i install firefox from the web but this time i cant change my search history (never remember)

I'm running 137.0 ver of Firefox, so the latest one. I've got an issue I don't know how to deal with. I always had set up that my address bar was also my search. So I could do both just from address bar. But one day, without me going to settings and changing this, it stopped working. I had to add separate search bar to my browser to open new webpages(previously I set up to open search results within an address bar, in the new tab). Now whenever I even open new blank tab and type URL in the address bar, it does nothing. It doesn't even go to typed URL. I have to search for it in the search bar, then it displays required website. It happened overnight. One day I just turned off my PC for the night, next day when I swiched it on, it was like that. What should I do now?

Firefox 128.9.0ers how do I stop searching in the address bar? When I go to google.com and try to search in the search bar, it moves to the address bar instead. I don't want to search there.

I just went to hit the menu button in Firefox Android and now there's a QR scanner icon instead which brings up the camera. I use the menu/settings typically twice a day. I use the QR scanner about once every 8 months.

I want a way to remove the QR scanner option from the URL bar.

Just like every other android phone, it already has a built in QR scanner within settings.

I don't need some Mickey Mouse bolt on to Firefox to duplicate that functionality, which in the process breaks essential functionality I typically use at least once per day.

I can only wonder what kind of person thought that adding this was good idea.

If there is no option in settings to remove this QR scanner from the search/URL bar can this stupid change please be undone until there IS an option to disable it ? This is really annoying and is a deal-breaker afaic.

Example shown, attached. I tried different search engines but this change is part of Firefox itself and it occurs irrespective of which search engine is selected.

Hi....all of a sudden my firefox browser is not working. My home page will load in. But if I try to search for something all I get is a blank white screen. Can anyone help me out. I thought if I uninstalled it and then reinstall that might fix the problem. But I cannot find a way to uninstall it. Would appreciate anyone's help...Regards, Richard

I have been a Mozilla customer for some time now; no problems. All of a sudden when I select the Firefox icon I get Bing. I don't want Bing. How do I make it go away? DB
