To unlock Firefox for Android the same password is needed as to unlock my mobile phone. On my laptop I can use two different passwords. So, if someone finds out the password for my phone, they automatically have access to my Firefox passwords as well. That feels only half secure. How can I use two different passwords in Firefox for Windows , like on my laptop?

I have the current Android Firefox installed, my homepage setting has 'recently visited' UNCHECKED, but the homepage is adding all my recently visited pages! Swipe sideways to show even more of them. This is a privacy issue as well as just a bug. Please fix this urgently.

I have trouble going on to my cell phone without being constantly interrupted by games which I am able to push off when opened in cards. However this originally was not the case. It was freezing and blocking all on the phone until I got some removed. Now this has started up after a time lapse of nothing. I think Fake Firefox now as well as hrome. I have no issues in Windows or Edge. Also fake Playstore and Malware issues. I am no authority on computer and issues. I only know and report what is happening to me. All this after a new modem was installed. Possible. Let me know if I am offended

Thank you jscher2000, you have the right solution. Now I have a different problem in this context. I use the Mozilla Firefox browser deleting all cookies after finishing the browser, and now I want to enter Startpage as an exception. Unfortunately, I cannot find this option. I am sure you can help me here too. Brigitte

Firefox for Android, Galaxy phone

Whenever I use "previous page" or back arrow to return to a Google search results web page it goes to the top of the page of search results instead of returning to where I left off.

For example, if I tap on the 57th link on a page of Google search results to check out the web page and then i tap the back arrow to return to the page of Google search results it should return to the 57th search result where I left off. In actuality it goes to the top of the search results page and I have to scroll down to the 57th search result to resume from where I left off.

When I tried to recreate this problem in the Opera browser for Android it always returned to where I left off.

I have a ton of java malware and DNS redirects on my device and it Im trying to remove it but it seems like the abuser is still has some type of device admin still. What's my best options if I really need my device (android) to function for just a while longer sothat I can replace all of the other bricked and malfunctioning equipment that got wave linked with it? I'm not even totally sure the abuser has gone on because some of the software is still not working properly and some has even changed from the developers intended use. With the Last version of Firefox android, i have the possibility to download pdf and when i want to open it with drive reader, it gives an error and stay in Firefox.

Hi Bookmarking over the last 3-4 updates have changed a lot. Adding a bookmark these days now by default ends up n the folder I last visited ... even visited on my PC (bookmarks are shared via my Firefox account). I therefore have to edit the location every time I'm adding a new bookmark, a tiresome and not needed not wanted process. I liked the old default on the Android version so much better. It had its own folder (when viewing bookmarks on my PC), and was clearly separated by mobile (I using two mobiles). Had hoped there was an optional default to modify, but if there is I cant find it. I'm I missing something. Cheers Bjarne
