So, just using "default" profile and no associated email, i accidentally pressed the passwords menu. This opens an unlock screen that, i think is supposed to look exactly like the stock Android one but it is different. It prompts for a pin, which i didnt want to provide, but wouldnt allow me to back a page using 3 button back arrow (havent tested with gestures though) . SO i input enough incorrect pin codes. It rate limits you after about 5 failed attempts. Except i found if i repeatedly tap the back button quickly, the rate limit is instantly bypassed again immediately and i can continue indefinately until i guess the pin...

Doesnt inspire much confidence yet.. but it's getting there!

I'm using a pixel 8. Firefox is my default browser. I noticed safe search was suddenly locked on my phone. I went to search to try and trouble shoorlt and Firefox was gone from my phone! I reinstalled it. The next day it was uninstalled again. My phone was also really glitchy and a few apps stopped working. I wouldn't uninstall Firefox as it's my go-to browser. My bookmarks came back but lost all my dlsabed passwords. Anyone have Firefox randomly uninstall itself?

Every time I try and use Firefox autofill for a saved password on my IPad (iOS 18.1) I get a message that says I must be logged in with a device code. I have no idea how to do this as I am already logged into my device and there is no place to enter a password or finger scan. How can I fix this.

Podczas sprawdzania pliku dziennika odkryliśmy, że aplikacja org.mozilla.firefox ma błąd braku pamięci, przez co system wymagał miękkiego resetu w celu zoptymalizowania aplikacji. Jest to nietypowe zachowanie aplikacji i musi zostać wykryte przez właściciela aplikacji. Jest to więc problem z aplikacją i powinien zostać sprawdzony przez producenta aplikacji.

After software update why doesn't samsung ask for soft reset to optimize apps And when apps have problems working I have to restart and then app optimization turns on. And then everything works very well again. I hope you can fix this

While checking the log file, we found that the application org.mozilla.firefox has an out of memory error, which required a soft reset of the system to optimize the application. This is an unusual application behavior and needs to be detected by the application owner. So, this is an application issue and should be investigated by the application developer.

So, my password keeps changing and I don't know why. I tried to sign in with my Mozilla account and it won't let me. It keeps telling me my password was changed about 29 days ago....whaaat.

I have had to force quit Firefox so many times.

This is because if there is one incident where I needed to force quit, every time I come back the browser keeps trying to restore the faulty session. This is inane. Why would this even be set up to work this way? I choose, no don’t restore and it still tries to.

Can this be fixed, or is it time to move on to chrome?

If you leave more than one tab in the background while using Firefox, it may irregularly automatically shut down. This happens even if you manually change the close after n hours in the settings, and I'm currently using Samsung Galaxy. For Galaxy Tab, I've tried to lock the app, allow the background, etc. to prevent this irregular shutdown, but to no avail. How do I solve these problems?

I have a particular banking website that I have been unable to use this past week. When I enter username and password, the site sends a code. When I enter that code, the website returns a message that the code is incorrect (it is not) and that my account has been locked. I worked with a CS agent at the company online, and he confirmed that I am entering the correct code. What is causing this? I have not changed any of my Firefox settings for several months. My browser is updated to the latest version. When I log in using Safari, I have no issues. Do you know of a reason this is happening?

I have a small niche non critical issue with setting my own search engine in the FF mobile app. Looks like it's doing a test to see if the URL is reachable, but gets rejected because of authentication.

It did not prompt for credentials, just immediately fails which prevented me from setting it.. Now I am self hosting a SearXNG search engine behind a reverse proxy (Nginx) with basic HTTP authentication, so I do have the power to disable it for a minute just to set the engine correctly and re-enabling it again.. After that, when trying to search for something after a session ends, it did prompt me for credentials and worked pretty well after that!

So see, this is very niche, but do prevented me from setting my own engine. It will be a show stopper for those who want to use such engine (with any authentication) but do not self host it...

The syncing feature of my Mozilla browser is having trouble l confirming that my bookmarks, etc. have been completely synced. Often times i do not receive any confirmation of this when syncing or the confirmation is significantly delayed.

Firefox doesn't sync automatically nor manually via "sync now" setting. Don't know what could be the problem, but it takes 4 to 5 days until things are refreshed. Any clue on how to fix this? Has this bug been reported yet?

Whenever I try to download a pdf file, I can’t view it afterwards or export it to another app. Also exporting to another app like Goodnotes doesn’t work. Please fix this bug on ios!

The browser on my S24 ultra keeps getting "signed out" of my Mozilla/Firefox account and having me to sign in every two days. The device keeps showing "connected" on the Connected Services page, but I can see the browser does not show my account info and asks me to sign in again.

I recently got a Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) (8GB 256GB). I believe with the following specs:

• MediaTek Kompanio 1300T (8C, 4x A78 @2.6GHz + 4x A55 @2.0GHz)
• Integrated ARM Mali-G77 MC9 GPU

However, I'm getting 'hardware acceleration' errors with roll20, the roleplaying site, in Firefox.

If I try to launch a game in Firefox, roll20.net gives such error, and the site is not rendered at all.

I then tried Firefox Beta. Better, but I get an error that hardware acceleration is not enabled. The menu in the game is then rendered incorrectly.

On Chrome, the site is rendered, but the menu is way off to the right, similar to Firefox Beta.

Is there a setting in one of the flavours of Firefox on Android which I can turn on to activate hardware acceleration? I would have thought the tablet is powerful enough to use that. If anyone has any ideas what is going on, would appreciate it,
