Today I read a lot of complaints about Manifest V3 and Google's monopoly with chromium. And looked at Firefox's market share from early 2024 to now. I've been thinking about how to regain a small market share and fight against chromium's dominance (although it seems impossible). For me and probably many other users, the biggest problem with firefox is its RAM usage. Currently Edge is the browser with the least RAM usage and has about 2% more market share than Firefox. If each Firefox tab was optimized to reduce 100 MB of RAM usage (without using any extensions to help reduce RAM usage), its market share would surpass Edge. What do you think?

In profile on Desktop, my phone doesn't even show up as one of my devices with Firefox browser, tho it's been on there for years. So long, I'd forgotten I'd chosen Focus. Is it so private even Firefox doesn't know about it?

Does syncing require that I ALSO download Firefox ADHD in order to sync with my desktop?

Any way you are able I've been trying to get out for over ten years. This is very difficult to describe communicatively in this manner. I don't belong in a facility. I do not have any applicable issues that require me to be here other than to maintain the silence a criminal mind that keeps me here requires. Keeping me blind, and forcing me to lose my "Independent Living" status is the Facility Administrator's goal to take away my rights to administer my own medications, use my own doctors, not allow anyone else to touch me or bathe, dress me. Enter my home, or go through my things without my permission. He has given every caregiver a passkey to every apartment in this facility. They're breaking my closet doors while I'm in my bathroom, etc

I added a new Search Engine, however they use different endpoints for the normal search string, and autosuggestion string. As a result, the normal Firefox Focus "Get Search Suggestions" doesn't necessarily work for this engine.

The normal endpoint is /search/?q=%s, but their autosuggestions are at /api/autosuggest?q=s

Having asked this question your replies wanting a screenshot etc have told me to reply using threads. I am not tech savvy & have no idea what they are or how to access them

Hi, I'm having a he'll of a time trying to figure out what version I should firefox version I should download & where for mobile without using google. The mozilla site keeps redirecting me to use Google version. & Google version won't let me use the YouTube addons to download. Basically I want a version that will use ALL the add-ons instead of the limited amount the mobile firefox offers & use a version like that of a desktop computer. A version that let's you use all add-ons available on desktop computer just the same on a mobile device. My device is a Samsung Note 10 if that helps

Google Pixel 6A, firefox, firefox focus and firefox nightly all have the play/pause button too close to the corner of the screen. The play/pause button is not responding to the user trying to press the play/pause button because it is too close to the corner of the screen. In Google Chrome, the play/pause button is moved approx. 1 inch away from the corner of the screen, towards the center of the screen and it works perfectly. I would love to switch from chrome to firefox, but this issue needs to be fixed before i can. Thank You.

I'm switching from SRWare Iron to Firefox Focus. I'm liking it, and I appreciate the danger of feature creep on an intentionally pared-down product. But, some features I do miss, in order of importance (to me):

1. An option to open a new (blank) tab - I often want to search for more than one thing, and opening a link I don't want jtst to get a tab is a poor workaround
2. The ability (either an option or by default) to stop sites from blocking pinch zoom - on a phone, sometimes small items are hard to tap accurately
3. Gestures, nice to haves, but I'm accustomed to them:

   # Address bar swipe to switch tabs
   # Pull down to refresh

I think pretty much everything else I can live without, or actively prefer not to have!

I am trying to add start page to firefox focus as a browser it says server not found. It wouldn’t even allow me to login my account on android phone. When I went to log in my account. The sign up page would never open. It would show a blue circle and go round and round in a circle never opened. I had to open this request on another phone. My IP address is [edited] My phone is pixel 3 Google phone. I can never screenshoot pictures of the error I have also take pictures from another phone. It wouldn’t allow me to send pictures of the one that says server not found. Someone is working the backend of this phone hope to get a response from you.

. Before this last update ,i can download any video from Face b , so easly just by long press on the video and select save to device.. this ability disappear after the update . Plz Return it .

Hi there, Lately I've been experiencing this issue where the browser would stop opening any website, search, or redirect and would just remain in a non loading state. The only way I found to remedy this was to either reinstall or clear data from the device, however the problem shows up again later.

The device that I'm experiencing this issue on is; OnePlus 8T Model KB2000 Color OS 13.
