I have changed my email. -- my current email is [edited from public] @gmail.com I want to change the email associated with my Firefox account. - the old email is [edited] @yahoo.com I no longer have access to the old email How do I accomplish this?

I preferred the simpler firefox for android, similar to for windows, as in june 2019, eģ 67 0 2. Tried to get from uptodown site but couldnt install. Any simpler version that also doesnt need permissions and throw ads for àndroid 6 please?

A few versions ago, Firefox (Mac) changed behavior when clicking on a link in an outside program. Specifically, if Firefox is not running and I click a link in Outlook, Firefox opens the clicked link in a tab but also opens my homepage in a second tab. Since I'm only interested in the clicked link at this time I don't want it to open my home page, just the clicked link. This problem is exacerbated by my.yahoo.com which causes a switch from the tab containing the clicked link to the homepage tab.

How do I get Firefox to only open the link that I clicked and not my homepage in addition? This was the normal behavior until a few months ago.

Hello, on one of my computers I have my new tab set to have 10 rows of pinned links. I went to `about:config` and copied the `browser.newtabpage.pinned` string. I then pasted it into the string on a new device I'm setting up, but it doesn't do anything.

Is there any way to get this working? My new tab on the device I'm setting up has none of the pinned links, just sites I commonly visit

I have been trying for a year to get my newsletter subscriptions to go to my "new" (not so new, now) email address instead of an old one I have not used for a long time. There is no way it seems to alter the email address for subscriptions. And I cannot see how to sign up with my new email address. I really would like to receive information from Firefox/Mozilla.

I currently use Chrome on Android & Chromebook as my main browser, but I would like to switch to using Firefox now across all my devices (linux, android, chromebook). To do this, I need to import my passwords from Chrome to Firefox, and have them sync between the Firefoxes on all of my devices, but it's not working. I have tried the following:

Method 1: I installed Chrome on my new Linux machine. Checked and made sure it had synced my passwords by logging into a website using Chrome. Then, on Firefox, I pressed alt to enable the toolbar, then File->Import from another browser. The pop-up says "No programs that contain bookmarks, history, or password data could be found."

Method 2: Chrome seems to have a feature to export the passwords to csv. So I exported the passwords from Chrome to a csv on Linux. To be thorough (because I am having trouble getting this to work), I used accounts.firefox.com to sign out the Firefox on my android phone and chromebook, then (on the phone) I deleted my browsing data, uninstalled firefox, and rebooted the phone. Back on Linux, I did about:config, then set signon.management.page.fileImport.enabled to true, then did about:logins then menu->"import from a file", selected the csv that I just exported from Chrome, and clicked Import. Import Complete, 332 logins added, 1 not added because it was missing a password. Logins successfully imported, hooray! For testing purposes, I create a unique new password entry, http://foo.com username "a" password "b". Then I go to about:preferences, make sure that syncing is on and I'm currently syncing logins and passwords, and press "sync now". Log in to my phone, install Firefox from the play store, start it up, sign in using my email and password (it says "syncing"), go to logins and passwords, click "saved logins". The only one listed is for foo.com, the fake one I created to test the syncing, but I expected to see all 333 there.

How do I get this to work?

system was working yesterday,..i can pull up my e-mail on yahoo...can read it but now won't let me delete it..went and used microsoft edge per yahoo staff signed into my yahoo account and mail worked fine...it's something on firefox browser...anyone else having problems ???

Hi. I want to sync with my work pc (it used to work just fine but when I synced to a newer third pc- successfully- it just stopped). When i try to sign in on the work pc it asks me for the primary password which it then FAILS to recognise to allow me to proceed! What's going on? I can't even log onto sites with saved passwords anymore. Any help appreciated.

When I try to logon to some sites, Google Drive for instance, the input field lose focus when I click and try to use my saved logins and the field stays empty. I go to the URL, click the account name field, then the suggested logins (not sure what the exact English header says, since my settings are in Swedish), and it sort of quickly flicker and then the saved accounts and passwords comes up, but by then the field has lost its focus.

Can't install Firefox on new WIN 11 laptop. Every attempt leads to the Microsoft store which no longer has Firefox in it or to a dialog that says Firefox is not a Microsoft-certified app. I REALLY don't want to use Edge! Thanks in advance for your help. Steve [email removed from public]

I'm really not sure how something like this can happen but I have lost access to your products. My favorites, passwords, DuckDuckgo, background, and everything. I thought that once I signed into Firefox again all these saved items would come back but nothing has. It's like someone pushed a button and changed my world using all the products that you offer. I don't know how to retrieve these needed items and I'm hoping hard you can return my Mozilla world to me. I don't really understand how this could have happened but I'm hoping it wasn't something I did. I can't give you any hints that might explain how something like this could happen. When I tried to sign into firefox Microsoft Edge offered to provide the password but I don't want to go near their products. It seems when you go that way Microsoft will add a dozen things I don't want. I'd like to thank you for any and all help you can provide to me. Also thanks for your time. I have Firefox 113 on a 14" laptop. The toolbar takes up 1/3 of the height of the screen, which I find intolerable and an obstacle in my work. According to my research, there is no way to adjust the height of the toolbar only. I have a vision problem and need to have fonts a certain size. Any reason why I wouldn't go back to Firefox 110? I have 110 on another 14" computer and it looks great.

All typed text appears blue until you break it in some ways like pressing the spacebar or moving the keyboard cursor with the arrow keys. It happens at the firefox search bar as well, and search suggestions and autocomplete doesn't work whenever it happens.

I've been having problems with using Firefox for a while. For context, I'm using a computer given to me by my college because my personal laptop gave up the ghost a while ago. It has a lot of security programs installed on it and I am obviously not allowed to mess with those at all, as my account doesn't have the permissions. Here are some of the problems I've been having:

• always signed out of my firefox account on relaunch (no options enabled that would cause this)
• always logged out of specific websites on relaunch (primarily noticed with discord)
• addon windows never load
• addons don't work, even when enabled, and after uninstall and reinstalling

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox also, but nothing seemed to fix these problems. The only thing that stopped happening was being signed out of my Firefox account on relaunch but I have no idea what was causing it or what stopped it.

Now, in an attempt to fix the problems I was having with addons, I refreshed my Firefox. So far I haven't done anything to it other than sign into my Firefox account. Upon trying to reinstall my addons, I got errors like this: "An unexpected error occurred during installation." and "UBlock Origin could not be installed because Firefox cannot modify the needed file." For reference, here's all the addons I had installed before I refreshed: Tranquility Reader, HTTPS Everywhere, Better TTV, Shinigami Eyes, UBlock Origin, Windscribe, Enhancer for Youtube, Dark Reader, and Bitwarden. I tried installing UBlock Origin, Enhancer for Youtube, and Bitwarden, and got the exact same errors every time. I'm really lost on what to do.

hi. recently on firefox android when i choose my desired login accounts on websites, after i tap on them, nothing will happen and i should fill them manually. i have my account sync for a long time a it is just happening recently. how can i fix it. thank you in advance

bold textFirefox has become a HUGE memory hog, and every update makes it worse. Would it be POSSIBLE for mozilla firefox to ACTUALLY listen? Instead of ASSUMING you already know EVERYTHING, pay attention to your users.........MOZILLA FIREFOX, WILL USE UP ALL MEMORY(IDLING). There are several THOUSANDS of posts stating that mozilla firefox is a HUGE memory HOG, and of course the people of firefox can NEVER be BOTHERED to listen to the public.

  That is the problem, we are left without the slightest bit of help or service when mozilla decides to intentionally ruin our PC's. And absolutely no one will believe us when it's been stated THOUSANDS of times that mozilla firefox uses up ALL memory(on the net).
   Please do something, we the public are getting FED-UP, with a corporation that "just can't be bothered to ever help anyone". Hint: the incessant updates do more to make the users angry, than "improve a browsing experience". I'm seeing 500mgs and 12 windows forced open just to idle firefox, and this is directly after the update.  email address: jimerb6@yahoo.com. Hello My shopify website is not loading in Firefox desktop. It loads fine in Chrome and Safari. https://christopherjameskull-shop.com/ I've cleared cache and cookies several times, and deleted and re-installed the app. It does work in Firefox on my iphone. Thank you for any help.
