Ik krijg geen verbinding meer met mozilla thunderbird email. Google is mijn provider. Google vermeldt: server kan het verzoek niet verwerken omdat dit niet de juiste opmaak heeft. Ik heb wel mijn wachtwoord in Google verandert door Odido probleem. Ik vermoed dat dit het probleem kan zijn. Mijn vraag is of u dit op afstand kan bekijken

I downloaded TB Supernova ver. 115.18.0 (32 bit) to my wife's old Gateway computer. (Win 7 Ultimate Svc Pk 1 32bit). However, after manually configuring the server settings, I get the above error message. Additional information: This old Gateway had Thunderbird on it at one time - don't know the old version. It worked, then quit after an upgrade, and I haven't been able to get it to work since. The ISP provider still has our original password, and I can log into their email server and see 81K worth of emails. I have a Toshiba laptop, also Win 7 64bit, and TB SuperNova is installed and working on it. I used the server settings from my Toshiba to manually configure TB on the Gateway... Any ideas as to what to try next? Peter

I have been using Firefox for last couple of years. Two days ago I got a bunch of updates, which reminded be of how AOL used to update, ie days of confusion.

SO NOW I CANT EVEN GET ON INTERNET! So here am a few days before Christmas, and can't access my bank account, or stocks. And I had no idea Firefox was going to institute these changes.

I can't express how stupid these unauthorized changes have been (without notification!) to users. Please remove this crap ASAP, and demote the group that thought a week before Christmas was a good time to make changes.

Using latest thunderbird on desktop, if I create account, thunderbird pops up a window but the window greys out and never gives me a way to input password. There’s a url at the top but it never goes

Hi I have switched to Mozilla from Chrome as I can’t update latest OS for my Mac. I can only browse internet intermittently and just want to ask if there are any settings I need to change on Firefox? Thanks Aidan

As of recent I increasingly have issues with accessing websites, those websites previously (yesterday) worked fine on Firefox. Version is 148.0 on Mac 26.3 (Apple M3 Silicon).

Now it has completely stopped working. Only websites using direct IP-address still work, all others fail with "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.". Safari still opens the websites flawlessly.

Nothing has changed on the OS level or application level as no updates have been installed (no need, as everything is up to date). Antivirus is BitDefender with extension for Firefox enabled for already an extended time (year or so).

I tried disabling several dns.resolver settings as mentioned in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can. No improvement whatsoever.

I quit firefox, removed the cache manually and restarted while starting a new test profile, so completely blank. Issue is still there.

DNS Servers on OS-level are correct.

Version 148 was installed last night evening and as such could be the reason for the failure since it is basically the only thing that changed.

In initial set up of Thunderbird laptop: on the last screen of set up, after entering username and password, Thunderbird set up posts a green background notice: " [checkmark] Configuration found in Mozilla ISP database." When "Done" is selected, a the following yellow background notice is posted: "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password." I know username and password are correct; they allow access to email via Spectrum webmail. I am confident configuration is correct [IMAP] \,because that is the configuration I have always used with my Thunderbird account on other computers. Suggestions?

Hi, When I click on a link in ANY email, it says " Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site. We can’t connect to the server at omxj86ebb.cc.rs6.net. If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

I know I did something to make my computer more secure, but don't remember. Please help! THANK YOU!

Ever since the latest update, Thunderbird (desktop) is extremely slow when connecting to imail.gmail.com. I frequently experience timeouts and authentication failures. This severely impedes my ability to send/receive email. I am running what I assume is the latest version of Windows 11 and have business class Internet with an ethernet connection. Please help!

I have got two e-mail by Thunderbird : X@orange => OK but X@kohinos.net NO connection Thunderbird said : connection time exceeded'. What to do?

After running updates and restarting my computer, I am no longer able to open my common websites used frequently. I don't know how to fix this problem. The search bar runs until it times out.

Hi, all experienced peoples are here I got strange issue with firefox lately. my site sometimes https://avsogirl.net/ not loads at all, just shows “server not found” look at the image.

i first thought maybe server down, but i checked with curl and ping, server responds fine. also tested same site in chrome and edge, loads normal there, no error. i tried clearing cache, disabling addons, even fresh profile. still same. only firefox gives this dns error.

i use dns-over-https in firefox, and i also have proxy config for work. maybe firefox handling dns/proxy different? when i switch off doh, sometimes page loads, sometimes not. so looks like firefox network stack problem, not site issue. anyone else facing same error?

I am using NextDNS as the system-wide DNS on Android (via Private DNS / NextDNS app). Other apps consistently use NextDNS as expected. However, in Firefox for Android, even after explicitly disabling DNS over HTTPS (Secure DNS), I still observe that some DNS queries appear to be resolved by other DNS providers. This behavior is intermittent and occurs on both Wi-Fi and mobile networks. My understanding is that when DoH is disabled, Firefox should strictly use the system DNS resolver. So my questions are: Does Firefox for Android have any internal DNS fallback or alternative resolution path even when DoH is turned off? Is this behavior expected by design, or could it be a bug? Are there any additional settings or advanced options required to force Firefox to always use the system DNS? Any clarification would be appreciated.
