Hi, I already know that Firefox, especially LibreWolf, is probably the best browser along with TOR and Brave about protecting against fingerprinting. However, after reading this paper https://arxiv.org/abs/2506.00719 about browser fingerprinting via WebAssembly I am wondering if and how Firefox, LibreWolf, can protect us against it. I already read this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-protection-against-fingerprinting, but I could not find any reference to such protection. Thank you

The sidebar that shows the browsing history is a very convenient tool. However, now, after closing the window, the option is reset to the bookmarks bar. You have to select the browsing history again, which is very inconvenient. Is there any way to fix this?

iam using firefox 115.23 64Bit at my IMac an be not able to pass the security check when i try to login with my acount , i have checked all seetings an deleted all cooking an enabled : javascript at : about:config page an restarted firefox , but still i do not pass the security check : : chat.deepseek.com , to check if iam a human an mark the box an then continue it checking an then it asking again an again .. when i use another browsers there is. no problem an can login normal an comparing already the setting between those with chrome an brave an safari , but i can find the problem . when i chetGPT or Google gemini Ai sites there is no problem an i can acces normal ..

do you have any idear what settings i have to change at my firefox 115.23 because i want to use firefox as my default browser .. i can not update firefox to an higher realease because iam use High sierra 10.13.6 on my iMac .

I downloaded the Firefox installer from the official website (https://www.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/download/thanks/). After downloading, I checked the SHA256 hash of the file: 051deb55cf9579e1f9b3bad71ec4a390353c568ef21849671953d08343b4e890.

However, this hash does not match any of the hashes listed on the official page: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/133.0.3/SHA256SUMS.

Additionally, a VirusTotal scan flagged the file with a potential virus alert.

Could you clarify why there might be a discrepancy in the hash and whether this file could be legitimate?

I bought a new pc and synced firefox with my old pc to transfer all my tabs and accounts. The new pc died within a day and i will have to return it to the manufacturer GMKTEC, the problem i have is all my accounts Ebay, Amazon etc are on it as well as my medical data. Is there something i can do with firefox to stop this information being looked at or used.

Hello I have an application that shows forms where the input fields are inserted on table columns. When the column contains two fields sometimes the second field is showed not in the same line.

It must be said that the second field is added after the creation of the form.

Whit Chrome and Edge the form is showed correctly. At thislink the behavior can be seen. Thanks

I recently, was my own fault not protecting my visa card but got scammed, I chopped the card but yet somehow someone accessed my amazon account and tried purchasing something just the other day. I only use this laptop for amazon. My concern is how to stop people from getting access to this browser through shared wifi and the person got into this laptop through the smart tv in the part of shared accomodation. I matched the serial number of the device to the device that appeared in devices in my control panel which I never authorized to access my laptop. I dont allow any access to my "network" to anyone but somehow someone got access. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. And everytime I tether with my cell phone its alwys a new network that I get asked by microsoft if I want to allow discoverable which I dont, but I usually have 80 -100 networks due to every log in with teher and wifi booster.
