I have this problem on 2 computers and also on all Mozilla software like Firefox, Thunderbird and also Libre Wolf:

When saving a file and right clicking the file menu window, e.g. for creating a new subfolder, the context menu looks empty, like in the 1st screenshot. It is expected to look like the 2nd screenshot.

Switched back to grey top-bar and noticed that when using star to save/edit page/link is grey like rest of the bar, but when saving/editing link with mouse, it's still pastel

Why? I want them both grey.

I have a Googlebook (laptop running Android) and I have Firefox Android installed. Currently it just looks like a scaled up phone browser. Is there a way to have it detect the "Android Desktop Environment" and be more like a desktop browser, mainly a bookmarks bar and a tab bar with vertical tabs? It would also be nice if it could handle mouse events (right click, etc). Thank you for your time.

Reduce the width of the form and then open the top menu bar, or trigger and display the menu bar. The maximize and close buttons on the top right side will not be fully displayed. You can refer to the GIF animation below.

Ok, I have firefox in Kubuntu 24.04 from the official mozilla repositories (I don´t like snap) so, by today I received an upgrade to version 157.0 and the new desing with the tab buttons are like pills, and I don't like that appereance, so I did an userChrome.css with this rule:

     border-radius: 5px !important;

}

Worked nice for me by the except that in the tabs background I have 5 pixel corners too, and behind that corners is white, so I tried with a new rule of zero pixel border radius to these elements: #TabsToolBar, #TabsToolbar-customization-target, #tabbrowser-tabs and #tabbrowser-arrowscrollbox with no success

I Like everything with that nice 5 pixel radius but not that blank corners, so what element I have to change its radius to zero in order to have a decent looking browser with no pill buttons? thanks.

Hi! Recently firefox got updated with new design and it looks good but the only thing i hate is how rounded it looks like now. I dont really like that my whole browser is just that much round now. Can i get back to cubes with rounded corners somehow?

Can you please change back tabs to how they used to be before update 157?

The new gradient is horrible / super annoying - feels cluttered - the focus should just be on the content (favicon and tab name). Seriously considering switching to chrome because of this.

Clicking a tab to activate it often just closes or mutes it by mistake because the area is so small.

Just make them the same size as on the top bar. It doesn't matter if the text is vertical.

Hi, I recently opened my browser and noticed that all the tabs are now rounded instead of rectangular. I'd like to restore them to their original appearance, but I can't find anywhere how to do it.

since i got windows 11, the scroll bars are so narrow that i can barely see them! i've widened them before in the registry (gasp!) but evidently that's not possible anymore. i'm not sure if it's because of the latest firefox update, windows 11, or google. i've seen references to winaero as a program that might help me do this. will it work? is it safe? thanks!

Hi.

I'm using Firefox 153.0 on Fedora 44 with GNOME 50. Everything is up to date at this date. I know that Firefox is supposed to support fractional scaling on Wayland since version 146.0. However, it does not work on my device.

As you can see, the first screenshot is when Firefox is in fullscreen mode. Fractional scaling seems to work and the text and picture are very sharp. However, when I resize the window, it looks like Firefox does not support fractional scaling (see my second attached screenshot). The text is blurry and not as sharp as when the window is in fullscreen mode.

Toolbar disappears while choice is playing. Bounces in and out of visual without staying locked on and visible. I won't want the tool bars to EVER disappear from screen when Firefox is playing, except for home page.

As described, I (changes being intended as temporary) changed the maximal size for the sidebar to open upon hover. Only when, at that length, I try to revert the change, the sidebar closes before I can "grip" the edge of the sidebar to shrink its length.

My issue is not that I cannot fix this change. My issue is that my change isn't permenant. I followed the standard steps of "Right-click anywhere on Sidebar > select 'Customise Sidebar' in menu > let Sidebar collapse > in 'Customise Sidebar' panel deselect 'Expand sidebar on hover' option > close 'Customise Sidebar' panel > pick up the RH edge of now stationary Sidebar by hovering mouse until the 'gripper' symbol (double-headed arrow) appears... drag RH edge of Sidebar to desired new max-open width."

The issue is that, after doing this, the sidebar reverts to taking up half the screen once I re-enable "Expand sidebar on hover" and reversing the steps listed above.

Any help would be appreciated! I'd rather not have to re-install.
