In the received message pane, unread messages are in a bold font, but, after reading a message, the font does not change back to a normal un bolded font. I have looked at every setting I can think of and I cannot get this to work the way it did in version 102. I am currently on 115.9 ,but, I may revert back to version 102 which worked without any problems. Can you help me resolve this problem?

Hi, When I am on a site for instance to upload my resume for a job listing when I click on upload a file it doesn't do anything. It doesn't matter what site I am on it's the same everywhere. I then go to Chrome and use the same site and it works. It brings up the location I want to choose for the file.

I have tried adding permissions and it still doesn't work. I have build 125.0 My question is there a way for me to choose where the location is of my files? Like on my phone or SD card? I have looked and I don't see that for Android version. Thank you.

Hi, I've just switched to Firefox and I've been customising settings to make it work the way I like.

I prefer having my browser open a blank page whenever I open a new tab or a new window. I've noticed that Firefox opens my homepage when I open a new window, and unfortunately I'm not able to set that to a blank page on my work computer because my employer controls what I have set as my homepage.

Is there any way I can configure Firefox to open my new tab page, or a blank page, when I open a new window, instead of opening my homepage?

I'm giving up trying to add the mobile app to Android. No one offered any solution and only asks the same questions that I've addressed myself, so I'm done and will just use Chrome and Yahoo..

Just updated Firefox, now it doesn't respond to clicks, not can I select text, websites don't load, all the tabs are at half -resolution. Unusable. Need to use it.

I have been a TB user for years. Recently, many problems. Today (for the first time) I can't even launch the program. One I got the error "Cannot open XXCOM" where I used XX for letters which I can't remember. Then I tried again and got a breakpoint error: "(0x0000003) occurred in the application at location 0x000000006D809898"

I am a long-time TB user with gmails. No problems in the past. I inadvertently hit send for my reply to a message delivered to me on a no-reply account (Wordpress). A big overlay screen popped up with the heading "sign in with Google" and then "sign in to continue to Thunderbird email"; then "enter email or phone"; and then "next". Clicking next takes you to a new screen that reads "Google 400, the server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That's all we know."

Meanwhile, TB tries to log on until it times out, ending with small box in lower corner of the screen, "Authentification error" (see third screen shot).

I logged onto my Google account and as far as I can tell that is okay. I've turned off my computer and tried sending emails, but always get the above screens. Seems like I'm caught in a loop and can't cancel out the error message. Is this a TB problem or a Google problem. Help!

Facebook will not load on my Macbook pro anymore.

I've been using Facebook on my Mac for many years, no problems.

About 2 months ago, it stopped loading: "Gah, your tab crashed."

I went through all the self-help tips, clearing add-ons etc, clearing cache, making sure Firefox and IOS are up to date, etc., nothing works.

I've now migrated to Safari but miss Firefox.

Actually my problem was solved. It came from the fact that following a maintenance intervention on the servers of the https site where my account was located, and access to which was blocked by Mozilla, the automatic updating of certificates had not worked. Which the site technicians resolved following a request I sent to them.

I'm asking my question here because I am not sure whether that is a bug with Thunderbird (as suggested by similar topics found with a quick online search) or with my system.

I am currently using Thunderbird 115.9.0 on an Arch Linux system with kernel Linux 6.8.4-arch1-1 and GNOME 46 with Wayland.

The problem is: The compose message window immediately loses focus when I click at it. Closing the main window doesn't help (or any other open window for that matter). I can still type and some of the buttons still work (tested Save and Send) but I can't edit recipients and I can't close the window (attempting to closes other open windows instead).

Things that were recommended elsewhere and that I tried to no avail: - clearing the cache - updating thunderbird and my system (already up to date) - moving the window to another workspace/closing all other open windows - restarting (duh)

I think this problem is with Thunderbird because I don't experience focusing issues with other programs.

I am also happy to provide additional info if someone wants to write an actual bug report. I was just scared off by the requirements of Bugzilla.

I used Malwarebyte scan to check for my digital footprint and it showed Firefox , spotify and another program , it also identified one password that was out there ! Does this mean that Firefox on my PC/Phone is insecure ? or are they trying to get me to use their software ?

Hello, In Thunderbird (Vers. 115.9, OS Linux Zorin OS 17) I can integrate a calendar from a Mailbox.org account as described here(https://kb.mailbox.org/de/privat/adressbuch-und-kalender/caldav-clients-outlook-thunderbird-macos-evolution-kontact/). Everything works fine. If I now want to import a 2nd calendar from another mailbox.org account, this does not work. I can go through the process normally, but the 2nd calendar is not displayed. Does anyone have the same problem? It can't be that Thunderbird is not able to integrate 2 calendars ? Many thanks for your help

We are attempting to disable DNS over HTTPS by pushing a configuration profile from JAMF Pro. The profile completes successfully and shows it is disabled, but Firefox will still show it is enabled. Has anyone else encountered this? We are using our own DNS Resolvers and need to not have Firefox force theirs. BTW, in order to avoid confusion, this is specific to MAC OS machines only. Thank you!

I am experiencing more and more pages suddenly not working on numerous websites. I am working with an Imac running OS 10.9.5. I am experiencing problems with Firefox, Chrome and Safari and am having to revert to my Microsoft Lap top for a working browser.

I am trying to use OBS Virtual camera, I am resetting permissions of camera access, removing cache and data to be sure, and selecting it but it still doesn't let me use OBS Virtual Cam and selects Built in cam automatically does anyone has any solutions ?

when I enter for first time I can select and i select OBS Virtual Cam and I click on Allow and then next window pops up and it doesnt let me select anything else...
