Firefox is blocking pictures from opening in emails, changes to attachments

I like to go to my yahoo mail thru Firefox. When I do this, pictures in the emails are not plugged into email but come thru as attachments. When I use Google Chrome the pictures are in my emails but I can't see that I am still coming thru Firefox. Is it a setting somewhere that can be fixed so images display in emails?
