For History, do Firefox/Tools-Options-Privacy and select Firefox will Never remember history

Sorry, but that's for Firefox on desktops or laptops.

My concern is for Firefox on an Android tablet (Samsung Galaxy 10.1). If you go to "Tools" you get a list of things on which you can act...but not History. At this point I have dozens of pages under "All Pages" which I can't erase as well as other dozens under "History" which I can't erase either. I want fr Firefox

(1) NOT to keep track of my searches or addresses (2) NOT to keep track of History

That's what my Firefox on my desktop and two laptops does after I had followed the same path you indicated when I installed it.
