The Firefox 4 interface, after installing FF4B4, is now completely in a fancy hand-written font that I can't seem to change.
Even the about: pages (about:config, about:cache, etc.) use this font. It is nigh-on unreadable, and extremely frustrating. When I had this problem, I edited the chrome.css file to change thee interface font, and it worked, but only for the main menu items, not about: pages. I'm not sure of the name of the font, but there is a screenshot in the link below: http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/82.../firefoxsadfont.png Rolling back to a previous beta or upgrading did not solve the problem, and I am now using FF4B6.

I suspect some system fonts may be missing or damaged. Try running the system file checker to see if it finds any issues.
First you need to open the command window. In the Windows start button, select All Programs, then Accessories. Now right-click on Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator.
In the command window type sfc /scannow
For more details on doing this see How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7
If you have any userChrome.css modifications for the fonts, you should remove them so that Firefox will use the system fonts.
The scan did not find any problems, and I removed my changes from the userChrome.css file. I still have the problem.
Are you using a theme? If you are try switching to the default theme.
You can check the font settings as shown here - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1175-fonts-change.html
I'm not getting handwritten font, but a gothic one that's all in caps. I've made no changes to userChrome.css, scan finds no problems and I'm using the default theme. Anyone figured out what's up with this?
If you use a Firefox 4.0 beta then you can also try to disable:
Tools > Options > Advanced : General: Browsing: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available"
I'm still having this problem, and I've tried all of the suggestions made in this thread. I have also tried uninstalling Firefox, and removing all Firefox related folders in %appdata%, and reinstalling, still no luck. Deleting the Firefox installed on my laptop and replacing it with the same beta I'm using on the error computer, along with all of the files in the %appdata% folder did not have the same problem, leading me to believe it is something to do with the operating system installed on this computer.
You can check core fonts like Arial, Verdana, Tahoma, Times New Roman in "Control Panel > Fonts" and make sure that they are not missing or corrupted.

I changed my windows theme back to standard and ran the scan again, and it found the files I'd altered to install the theme. Restarted and all works fine now. Not sure why it didn't find them when they were in use, but there we go.
I had the same problem but with a different font. I found the solution at:
I had recently downloaded a heap of new fonts and one of them was the one I was seeing in my browser. Once I had deleted it, everything went back to normal. Good Luck!
