hi, while I was playing with my linux, I removed some essential libraries and firefox cannot restart anymore. I cannot reinstall the missing libraries, then I will reinstall my distro again. But I want backup my bookmarks, but all info that I found about bookmarks backup you need a working firefox to save them. I just want copy the file where my bookmarks data is saved, where is this file? In .mozilla ?

thanks Abner

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox LINUX : ~126~/.mozilla/firefox/<profile>/

Make a backup of places.sqlite and the JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups directory. See also http://kb.mozillazine.org/Backing_up_and_restoring_bookmarks_-_Firefox
