I have a window open with numerous tabs. I open a new window, and the current tabs are replicated - I would expect the new window to be blank - what am I doing wrong? What settings do I need to change. I run Firefox on a MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard OS.

Firefox loads the Home page(s) by default in a new window. If you see something else then check your extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) to see if one of them is causing it. See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems

How do you open that new window?
