My browser is only a third down the screen but all the way across. The text is out of place and running in to other words

when I opened firefox initially it opened correctly with the browswer displyed on the screen. I went to a another web site and the screen changed so that it was across the screen but only about a 1/3 of the way down. Also the text on the screen is running into itself
